talk to the American Legion group. There's a group of them that ride together. He said one of the guys has a side car and so he set it up to take my dad out for the ride of his life on his bday. because their worker was in the wrong, and then purposely prolonging all of my new paperwork to a new office to be spiteful. I expected more from hr.Not a slap on the wrist. Of course My experience is going to lead to all these amazing reviews on here that you will see but truthfully do your own research and make sure that where you’re getting treatment from that not only to the people care about you but if they are ever in the wrong they can step back as a human and say you know what I did with this wrong and instead of priding up and making situation worse remember you were put in this field because you CARE. I received a very generous amount in returns. Well that all was too good to be true when the IRS decided to do an audit on me. Being my first time I was very freaked out, I called , left voicemails and emailed David many many times and received no response. I finally spoke to another Agent whom had gone through something similar. He recommended I call his tax person who is a CPA and IRS approved preparer, which of course I did not know was a thing. I got in contact with her and gave her my prior tax hard copies that were prepared by David and she informed me of the worst! Turns out that David Torres and Family were filing my taxes fraudulently, inputting false information about me and my work. All this was done without my consent or knowledge. I have tried to contact them countless times to get as much information as I could or even answers of to why this was done in the first place but no response. I am now in debt to the IRS with large amounts. Please do not make the same mistake as me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH (Torres Tax Service) DAVID TORRES AND FAMILY.

The mechanic, Curtis, is trying to take advantage of a young poor college student who asked for help with diagnosing a problem with cylinder one on a beat up 99 Buick La Sabre. Curtis was informed at the beginning the steps already taken like changing the spark plugs, wires, etc. The young man even 'smoked' the hose lines to check for leaks, and fixed two. Note: The spark plugs were bought online at AutoZone and picked up at local shop. Later, AutoZone manager and a mechanic working there confirmed that the plugs sold were 100% compatible with this car and are OE. They also said that the insulator gets cracked only when being removed, not when installed. Plugs were installed only a week ago.
Curtis called and said the car was done and said repairs were $450. No quote or diagnostic details were given over the phone. When arriving to discuss, Curtis was asked why he did unauthorized repairs when only a diagnostic was requested. He said he was done talking, and was very rude. He took great delight in informing that the car wouldn't be allowed to leave without payment. This sounds like a set up for a fraudulent mechanics lien. When asked about the diagnostic fee, he said it took him 2 hours to diagnose what he claimed were the wrong plugs (obviously a lie), and the rate was $120/hr, so $240 just to diagnose! He replaced the spark plugs, that's all! (Plugs is the first thing everyone will try, Curtis was informed as above). AN INVOICE WAS NEVER RECEIVED.
Note: most auto parts stores will scan the computers for free, and we knew where the problem was (cylinder 1, not the plugs), so why would anyone pay for what they already knew and had informed the mechanic?
After a considerable amount of discussion, he started with just the huge, expensive diagnostic fee and he would reinstall the old, now broken, plugs. The plugs had cracked insulation which only happens when removing, not when installing per trained mechanics that were consulted. Would you want broken plugs put in your car, especially when you know the mechanic broke them? It would not be safe! Is the shop willing to let this happen? Will they accept liability when the car stops and crashes? We are considering what legal options are available, like negligence or fraud if not corrected. It seems to clearly be faulty misdiagnosis since we know for a fact that the issue was not the plugs. The real problem is still unknown. We no longer want this clown touching our car anymore.
We will be returning tomorrow to speak to the owner, but I'm not optimistic. They've received bad reviews most recently. Only good reviews were years ago, up to 4 years past. AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I will update with any news. If no update, then no resolution was reached.

2nd UPDATE: They have ghosted me and will not respond to calls and texts. I called other turf companies and 80% of the nail the seam to reduce the problems. When I forwarded a text from a competitor on their installation procedure, they did not respond or own up to their mistake. I no longer feel comfortable recommending them.
UPDATE: The seam is coming apart in less than 6 months. When asking them to fix, they would not do it. They do not fix seams because “it is a common industry problem.”

is a hard one because overall I am satisfied but there were a couple things that could have been handled and still need to be handled differently. Let me start with the good. When compacting the base, they used a smaller compacter. When we used a slip and slide in, the water did drain properly, and the ground became very soft and created divots in the grass. They did come back, pull back the grass, add more base and used the proper compacter. However, the way that it was communicate to me was done very poorly. Very condescending. One of the owners tried to convince me that it was not okay to have that much water. But when I asked about monsoons, he said that was different. It is a lot of water either way. So that was a good/bad experience. They did come back and fix it.
They did have to compact some base around an inground trampoline, and it is understandably hard to compact in that area. However, they came back and fixed that. They were very professional about it. I was very happy with them.
Now, the grass has been in for only 10 months and the seam is coming apart. When I asked them to come pull it back together, they said that is was a common problem in the industry and not covered under install warranty. I was shocked to hear that. When asking about it when getting the estimate, I asked if they did a straight seam or a wave seam. They told me they did a straight seam and that it would barely be visible. Not the case. My parents have turf, and their seam was glued and staked. They have no problem with the “industry issue.” I was very disappointed on how this was handled.

This guy is using wrong address and was asked to change it. Instead of changing the address he started harassing us. He called over 150 times in 3 hours. Plus calling at 1 or 2 in the morning. What normal person does this? If he lies about his address what else does he lie about maybe his license?
Was delighted to be able to go on-line the night before to make an appointment for the very next morning!
