Exceptional care and service! The practice is immaculate and patient care was extremely efficient and friendly. I would strongly recommend visiting Greenwich Point Dermatology for any skincare needs.
The doctors have a gentle touch and listen to their patient's needs.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about Dr York and her Staff at Bear Pond! Almost three years ago I had an early, emergency c-sections with my son and she was the pediatrician on call for Johnson. My husband and I were planning on another pediatrician recommended by a friend who wasn’t in Bear Ponds immediate area. I feel as if Fran saved both mine and my sons lives- she made sure he was admitted to the amazing NICU at UCONN Health to receive the proper care being a preemie with
under developed lungs (she did amazing work prepping him before he was taken there via ambulance) and she got my blood pressure stabilized so I could get out of the hospital after 5 days on meds that weren't helping. After delivery/ getting out of the hospital I immediately knew we wanted her to be my son’s pediatrician and then we found out she was a family doctor and I very happily switched her to my primary! She’s no BS and gets straight to the point, which my husband likes. She has no problem explaining everything and answering all of our questions! As first time parents we had A LOT! She truly has her patient’s best interest at heart, and you can tell she really cares about what she does. Almost three years later we are still so happy with our decision of choosing Bear Pond. Their staff always greets us with a smile and they adore my son. And I even got my husband to switch to them for his primary, it’s nice that we can all be seen by the same doctor so all our family medical is together. I also really appreciate the text line that is a new feature for their office! When we have a quick question and we aren’t sure if it warrants a visit into the office it’s amazing to text them a quick question. An emergency c-section was not how I was hoping to bring my son into this world, but I’m thankful for it because it brought Dr York into our lives. I highly recommend this office and I’m thankful for all they’ve done for my family over the past almost three years
Please take these negative comments to heart. This is a real story, that can happen to you with your Golden Gal Puppies. Run now, before you dog turns 24 months old, and get a PennHip done them. You can not get an OFA on your puppy until it is 24 months old. Any reputable breeder knows that. A contract is suppose to be one that protects the buyer, the breeder and the dog. Golden Gals, does nothing to protect the buyer nor the dog. The majority of the pet family buyers will never have
these test done. The reason being, by the time your puppy starts present and suffer with Hip dysplasia, and 95% of our breed does, you will be way, way past her 24 year old timeframe. My 16 month old born in July, from Ruger and Lana, has hip dysplasia and arthritis in her hip. She knows this now, and a reputable breeder following our GRCA Ethical Breeding Practices, would never breed him again. The only way for them to honor their contract is, and this is not stated in their contract, if you hand over your puppy to them. The puppy that sleeps with you in your bed every night, your children love, who your children love, who comes on vacation with you, who is sick, and cared for and loved by us. That puppy, that’s what they want in return. They don’t tell you want they will do with that beloved puppy. Sell it again, and not tell the new buyer, give it to someone else, in which case the puppy is still better off with us, or breed the heck out of her? IN that case, it is not protecting the dog either. We were told by Steve there is no way you will get another dog out of us, My husband kindly asked for our $2,000.00 breeding rights back. NOPE. I have since had another puppy owner contact me and told me of parvovirus that her litter had. So please take seriously the BBB, Golden Retrievers Discussion board, Reddit and google Reviews as well as this one. The nobility of a person character is not shown when they are taking, in my case $18,000. It is shown when they might have to take some money out of the same pocket they put the money in. I have since found she is known by many breeders, as a high end puppy mill. I sand her praises also, until this happened. When you buy a puppy you are buying a part of the breeder. Buyer beware. And have your dogs tested please.

Fair price for the work done.
Does not listen to the customer. Joseph the watch tech is rude on the phone and took him over a month and a return to fix my grandfathers watch properly. Also asked to have the watch shipped to my business and they ignored me twice and mailed to a fedex drop location. I was given excuse after excuse both the original time I sent the watch in and when I had to return it because it was not repaired properly the first time as to why it was taking
so long and why they will not ship to my place of business. Simon did answer my emails but Joseph likes to ignore phone calls and is rude when asked when my watch would be shipped. I would not trust this place if you like to be kept informed and listened to.
Joseph need some customer service skills and also needs to listen when a customer wants their watch shipped to them and not a fedex drop location. Joseph also needs to learn how to fix the watch correctly the first time.
Simply put : John Tamerin is not like other psychiatrists. If you want to change your life , change your outlook, grow and be the best version of yourself you can be, then get to work with “Dr. T.”
If you want to be in therapy for years and years, have a shoulder to cry on and whine endlessly, then you should go to your average run of the mill therapist, not John Tamerin.
Dr. T is unique in his no-nonsense approach. Seasoned , wise, ,kind, and supportive Dr. T will help you. Honest
and direct Dr. T tells you like it is then gives the support to do the hard work of bringing the best out of yourself.
At different times in their lives I have trusted Dr T with each of my 3 sons. They would not be the fully developed amazing young men that they are without his guidance.
Now in my late 50’s I am finally giving myself the gift of working with Dr.T to build my best self.
If you want change in your life and are willing to do the work , you will be shocked by how quickly that will happen with his guidance.
I will forever be thankful to Dr. T and grateful for his assistance and support in helping me raise a healthy family.
All 4 of us love Dr. T.
There really aren’t many therapists like him. Run don’t walk to work with him.
Love love this company, Sharon is such an expert and always available She helped my dad get outof the hospital to rehab followed through with all they didn't helped us place her on assisted living and continues to monitor him
Wonderful nursing practice, expertise throughout the heathcare system knows her stuff and communicates well because our family live in Michigan. Couldn't say enough of this wonderful service I wish more people knew about it
Clean space, affordable, could be a great spot for parties or hanging out with friends. Beer/wine available so even nice for a date nite. Close to train.
Coaching availability is unreliable—for such an upscale table tennis place this is problematic. Owner often seems disheveled/ foggy/disorganized about answering details around hours and party pricing.
He once completely forgot about a friend’s party and hadn’t arranged any of the food or details and wasn’t even there
when they arrived for the party! Maybe new biz hiccups, but still!
More hours would also be good—opening at 5 on weekdays is tough if you want to bring a kid after school.
I booked Mikey for my wedding hair/makeup. She is very easy going to talk to, prices are reasonable, and she does an amazing job. I couldn’t have been more happy with my hair/makeup for my wedding!
DISAPPOINTED. I PAID A LOT OF MONEY FOR A USELESS REVIEW. THEY OVER DID IT WITH COGNATIVE TESTS. WHEREAS A SIMPLE ROAD TEST WOULD BE SUFFECIENT TO GIVE AN EVALUATION. I DID A ROAD TEST THAT WAS TOO LONG, ALMOST AN HOUR TEST. THAT TEST SHOULD HAVE BEEN SUFFECIENT BUT THE LADY INSISTED ON GIVING ME MORE COGNATIVE TESTS.. WHAT A FARSE. I DROVE BEAUTIFULLY. ENEUGH IS ENEUGH. I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING FOR A REVIEW AND EVALUATION AT STATE OF CONN. TRAINING CENTER. ITS FREE TOO. AS A TAXPAYER. FREE.
Most of the staff including the doctor were very nice. I didn't have to wait for my cat to be seen
My cat appeared critically ill over a week ago. I couldn't get an appointment right away at my regular veterinary practice. So I took her to VCA Shoreline because they could take her in immediately. I expected that emergency services would cost more. I also expected to have to put down a deposit. Emergency services tend to be very expensive and I'm sure a lot of people skip
out on the bill. So I was willing to accept all this going in.
After only a cursory exam of my pet, the doctor gave me three possibilities of how things could turn out based on the outcome of the test results (that they had yet to run). I expected to sign the standard forms authorizing treatment and another form that I would be responsible for the cost of all treatment. That's not what happened. After the doctor left, another staff member came into the room. She and I were alone in the room. They had one form for me to sign that would authorize treatment and make me responsible to cost of treatment. I didn't like that it was one form but ok. The problem I really had was that there was an "Estimate" at the top itemizing the price for all testing and treatment.....BUT the doctor said there could be three different outcomes. Why was I signing to be responsible for treatment the doctor hadn't even decided was necessary because they hadn't even run the bloodwork yet?! Specifically, I was signing to be responsible for $150 in undisclosed "Medication". We didn't even know if my cat needed medication yet!!! When I objected, the staff member became very cold and said flat out: "you have to sign this document or we won't treat your cat". My cat was having an emergency. Was I really going to price shop other veterinary clinics? Of course not. They knew they had me in a bind and could charge whatever they wanted for any reason. That's when it occurred to me. Why weren't we discussing this at the front desk like every other veterinary practice that has nothing to hide with its billing practices? Why was I alone in a small room with a stern staff member pressuring me and saying: sign or else? This is the kind of shady manipulative practices you see in used car dealerships. I have never been made to handle things this way or been treated this way at any other veterinary practice.
I have one more thing to add. They are supposed to be an "Emergency Hospital". They had to get a urine sample from my cat and they said they couldn't test it in house. It would take 24hrs to send it to another facility and get the results back. Shouldn't an EMERGENCY HOSPITAL have all equipment necessary to treat just about anything?! I took my cat to a follow up appointment a week later at our regular vet that is NOT an emergency hospital. They had the equipment and ability to do the same urine test in house and in under 1 hour! This place is overrated for the services they provide. They definitely overcharge even for being an "Emergency Hospital", and they do so in a high pressure deceptive fashion. I will NEVER go back to this place unless my pet is at death's door and literally no other veterinary practice in the state will take her.

I did not catch any of their names.
They have had two of my very expensive brand new locomotives sent there for repainting of and on now for over a year. At first they had them for over six months and when I got them back they looked like a 5 year old had painted them. In addition there was bent and broken parts. After forever, they agreed to repaint them and now after having them another six months won't answer my emails or respond to my voicemails.
We had a horrible experience working with Christopher Anderson, CPA and do not recommend him.
Christopher Anderson, CPA is unresponsive, uncommunicative, unprofessional, and doesn’t do the job properly. He took advantage of trusting clients (we weren’t the only ones to have this experience), costing us time, money, and price-gouging to add insult to injury.
Christopher Anderson, CPA promised our taxes would be completed before the April deadline, but then he filed an extension without informing
us. He assured us he had reviewed our paperwork we were owed a refund. This turned out to not be true and cost us dearly in penalties.
We were patient and naïve. Over 6 months, we left countless messages (via phone, email, and text) to either be told that they were "missed" or simply ignored. Requests for calls receive a text message with excuses that he has no cell service or is too busy, if at all.
Each month, I emailed and asked for an estimated date of completion. Christopher either ignored it or said to check back in another month. We received out-of-office responses in July and August noting that he was on vacation. After that, we received a general email apologizing to all clients for the delays that included a job posting and encouraged us to spread the word for him.
I insisted on a call and agreed to work with him only because he insisted that he’d already completed the bulk of the work and we’d be able to sign that week. Then, radio silence again.
Christopher had strung us along for so months already, so I used all forms of communication and insisted he return our taxes that week or we would go to another CPA. He complained that we were unreasonable, but he would complete the task.
Finally, he sent us our taxes and it turned out to be THE HIGHEST TAX BILL OF OUR LIVES, we owed significant penalties, and his invoice was an outrageously high.
When I noticed errors and requested a phone call to remedy them, he said he would not be accepting any. We were too close to the deadline, so we went to another CPA who turned around our taxes in 1 week. He said that Christopher had skipped MANY eligible deductions which we were entitled to, saved us thousands of dollars, AND charged well under half of Christopher’s rate.
Save your money, avoid the disaster, and go elsewhere.
Excellent Vendor Review: Central Sealing Company, East Hartford, CT
We researched 5 different driveway paving companies and chose Central Sealing. They had an amazing local reputation and were so easy to work with - Steve, their friendly office staff, and the professional paving teams who removed and then newly paved our 6-car driveway. They kept to the agreed upon schedule, were reasonably priced and our driveway looks just great. Would highly recommend this company!
Prompt, very nice and professional
Evan always answered the phone. He solved our raccoon issue by trapping and removing 4 raccoons. He even came over late in the evening to remove a raccoon rather then waiting for the morning. I recommend his services.
Farmington Valley Home Services (FVHS) was recommended to me by L&L Mechanical. L&L replaced my old HVAC system last year. They did an expert installation at a very reasonable price and I highly recommend them also. FVHS did an annual furnace maintenance job last week at a reasonable price. Yesterday (Friday) I had my hot water heater leak all over the basement floor. This is a 15 year old unit so I thought I would have to replace it. I called Brandon, at FVHS, and he said he would be here
this morning. Showed up on time, said it was the controller and replaced it. No need to replace the unit probably for a few more years.
Saved us a major expense, quick expert service at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Brandon and FVHS. This is a major reason I like to deal with local businesses rather than national chains.
My Dad sexually abused me for 10 years and Dr Horowitz said in his review that he didnt think my dad was a threat. He also said my mom made it up. this is FALSE and he was completely wrong about everything. I had to endure 10 years of terror because he screwed up the tests. I think he lied, or was bribed. There is no way he could be that off. Or he is just that bad at his job. Please help your kids and do not use him.
I would rate a 0 star if I could.
My Mom passed away on June 3, it's nearing the end of September as I write this. In yesterday's mail, I received a letter, addressed to her estate, threatening to send her collections for an unpaid balance of $23.56. This is the first bill I've received from them, or I would have paid it immediately, as I did all her other medical related bills. Given that I've paid bills in excess of $1,000 relating to her medical bills, something under $25 was not going to be
a financial burden.
Their website is currently hacked as I type this, rendering their online pay unusable. It took me asking several times over Facebook messenger before they'd finally provide an address and who to make the check out to (none of this was on their nastygram). They kept insisting that I call in to get the information I was seeking.
I said this to them, and I'll say this to the world. I would rather walk to the hospital on two broken legs then EVER use their services, especially if this kind of malarky ensues!
