6 years and regret entrusting the health of my pup for so long. My dog had ongoing health issues for over 2 years, over the course of which I went to Shatto for check ups more times than I can count. Not only did they ignore half of my concerns, they charged me an exorbitant amount of money for a variety of tests and labs only to come back with the same diagnosis and same medications. They gaslit me and told me that it was a simple reoccurring infection that would go away. I finally got a second opinion from another vet who immediately recommended an ultrasound and told me that it could be a progressive tumor based on the symptoms alone. After I received care from another vet, her symptoms IMMEDIATELY improved. Had Shatto done their due diligence I could have saved my pup 2 years of suffering. At the time of this incident I trusted them with the care of my dog as she had been going there since she was a puppy. Over the course of recent months the quality of their service has gone completely down the drain. The vets are not engaged or committed to the quality of care but rather the volume of pets they can see. They overbook, misdiagnose and brush off major concerns. Do not take your pets here.

They seem like a mess and too risky to use again. Like I said, one of my orders arrived on time and nicely. They other never arrived and I've had zero help with it. I'm giving them the 2 stars as at least one order worked out. Don't buy from them until they sort out their customer service and delivery system. I had to make this account to write this review. Well done! I'm very pleasant with your job! My house is filled up with new colors. To crown it all, I'd like to mention the approach that the company uses to serve their clients. They easily answered all my questions. Besides they've prepared their own design project and discussed it with me. It took not much time to make it ready. I've got the opportunity to make a few suggestions. Later they improved them and it was worth it! High quality installation and good performance.

They arrived 1.5 days late to set up, furniture was not wrapped or covered, falling apart, dirty. They did not wipe it, curtains has stains. Clearly they don’t care about covid or any other infectious diseases. It wouldn’t have Been an issue if they did their job correctly in the first place. The bride didn’t realize the Cala-lily flowers that were delivered were disgusting until after that first call with Sona around 5 pm on Saturday. The flower edges were brown and dirty looking, half open/half closed.
We called her back but no answer. We texted her pictures and left voicemails. We called the delivery employee as well asking him to tell Sona to call us back ASAP. Sona did not call or text us back. She left the bride in an outraged state, the day before her wedding. Instead, she showed up the next day with some “better” Cala-lily’s to try and replace the rotten ones. Then proceeded to interrupt the brides hair and makeup appointment that morning. The money we paid for this service was a WASTE!

I was able to work on 7 different models, and it really helped me get more comfortable with microblading and working on different skin types. It wasn't until three weeks ago that I had to leave my tire with a $100 charge to have the rim welded that I realized how irresponsible and dishonest this person really is. He told me that the rim would be ready the next day. Every time I called him, he would come up with a different excuse for why the rim wasn't ready and assure me that it would be ready for the next day. He kept me waiting for more than two weeks until I decided to go to the shop in person and demanded for he gives me my tire and my money back if he couldn't do the job. That day I didn't leave until he gave me the tire. Annoyed, he threw the tire in the trunk and said that the rim was fixed. At that point, I didn't trust him and took the tire to another shop. The rim was not well welded and I had to pay again.

More: The Dentist declined to do a regular cleaning because he felt that it would not get to the bottom of my gum problems. I have since checked with other dentists and their opinions were that ANY cleaning is better than no cleaning. I wanted a regular cleaning and hoped to build a little relationship and trust. But no, it had to be the $600 out of pocket service or nothing.
I walked out at that point and made arrangements to see another dentist (who is happy to do a simple cleaning) and called Eagle Rock back to get my xrays to send to the next Dr. I was informed that it would cost me $40 cash to send them by email!
My advice: If advised that your only option is expensive, please get a second opinion.

The Guy showed up three times, first time to take a pictures of the pressure controller which needed to be replaced, two days later showed up with wrong part, next day again with another wrong part and then disappeared all together.

spent his initial visit overselling his company on the quality work they may or may not have done for others while never providing a business license. Pro Star is listed with the Better Business Bureau as "NOT ACCREDITED" and with more than one complaint:
"Ryan" clearly stated the entire job of remodeling a small kitchen and dining room, two tiny bathrooms and the laying of yard pavers as taking "six weeks" at an over inflated price-at least 2 to 3 times the going rate. Knowing full well that it would most likely take longer and cost more no matter who was hired, Heidi signed the agreement. The quotes we got from other companies ranged from approx. $60,000-$120,000 yet Pro Star robbed us of over $211,000-basically our life savings, never once provided a single written receipt, saying "We don't feel we need to do that."
The demolition was quick to begin, then just as quickly slowed to a crawl as days went by each week without any work being done. Calls and emails to "Ryan" were ignored or dismissed and the best response we could get from him to inquiries of when things would be happening again was "You're on the schedule."-a "schedule" obviously made up on the fly and one we also never once saw throughout this mess. Example: a Thursday call MIGHT result in someone being "scheduled" the following Monday-maybe-leaving us to be out half our home and breathing dust and God-knows what else for four solid days and nights.
For weeks, were now completely without a kitchen, dining room and one bathroom, and our garage was put largely out of full commission for weeks as we were expected to store supplies, fixtures and even a toilet that wouldn't be installed for another month-and with no explanation as to why.
This would have been inconvenience enough for one or two people but with Heidi, the homeowner suffering from multiple severe and complicated health issues, three renters (none of whom asked for this remodel), each with completely different work and school schedules and two elderly dogs needing full time care, not knowing what-if anything-was going to be worked on and when, let alone any clue as to completion was beyond reprehensible. Instead of hurrying the job along, "Ryan's" solution was to gift us a small hotplate the size of a coaster that 4 grown adults were supposed to survive on for God only knows how long.
A sit down meeting was called with "Ryan" to calmly explain the problems with communication and the extensive inconvenience we were all suffering. We made it crystal clear that we understood and accepted the fact that there would be delays and problems, never asking or expecting any special treatment or favors. Our mistake assuming anyone from Pro Star would listen, respond or even care. Instead of hearing us and making the necessary adjustments "Ryan" quickly made it about himself, whining lies and excuses that ranged from "I'm doing my best." to "I can't be micromanaged like this." and even "If I don't have my breakfast, my sugar levels drop.". He soon got defensive, actually accused us of attacking him, feeling that "You are throwing rocks on me.". We were obviously getting nowhere and amazingly things only got worse.
With a kitchen, dining room and bathroom totally inoperable, four grown adults were forced to share a single small bathroom and sink basin for almost two solid months. Our front yard was unusable as even after the pavers were (cheaply) installed, it was doubled as a storage and construction zone and this was on top of breakage to a personal item, and front door sill (see photos).
The paving job itself which, being done completely outdoors should have run smoothly was not without one of the biggest issues. "Ryan's" total incompetence and ignorance of what a contractor's responsibilities are to his customers were but on full display, evident by allowing two large pallets of paving stones to be delivered and unloaded from the truck, while he neglected to arrange for anyone to move them from to our townhouse unit. Instead, (see photo) they were actually left at the corner of a narrow common driveway, in a fire zone near a city fire hydrant-a clear and blatant disregard for the law, our Home Owners Association rules and just plan good old fashioned safety common sense. When it was made abundantly clear to him that this was totally unacceptable and was told to get them moved immediately, either by getting an employee over there now or to rent a dolly and move them himself, he seemed shocked at the suggestion responding with a startled "Who, ME?!" and with a "That's not part of my job." proceeded to literally turn and walk away from the potential disaster he himself created, shocked that I would expect him to obey the law, please his customers, positively represent his company, take ownership of his mistake and simply make it right.
The quoted "six weeks" to completion was long out the window as this seemingly never ending nightmare wore on and on and on. In reality, it was almost three months to the day before there was any light at the end of this tunnel. Why? In addition to the dearth of work actually being performed, all three rooms had to be partly or largely completely redone, mostly do to lazy labor corner-cutting and incompetent mistakes, including Ill-fitting cabinets and a loose, leaking shower door, nearly every bit of it needing to be replaced.
My personal favorite oversight I spotted in 10 seconds-and with no knowledge of or training in kitchen design, contracting or construction. Yet "Ryan" was dumbfounded when I posed the question as to what was most obviously wrong. He was apparently unfamiliar with his very own kitchen layout design when installing the cabinets, to notice that he neglected to leave a space for the pre-existing dishwasher-the one that had been removed and sitting in our dining room-the very same one he set his coffee on, used as a writing table and passed right by it for two solid months. With his standard pat answer of "No problem.", his solution was not the relatively easy fix of simply removing the incorrectly placed cabinet(s) and reinstalling the dishwasher to existing connections right next to the kitchen sink where it had been conveniently located for some 20 years. His was rather-and unbelievably-to rip out the lower cabinets on the adjoining wall, and run new electrical and plumbing lines so that the dishwasher could be installed in the dining room! That was obviously not going to happen and at this point I was sick of being forced to do "Ryan's" job for him had no problem questioning his sanity. That matter was solved by getting his boss involved, doing a necessary redesign and installation-which also had to include the ludicrously ill-fitting dining room cabinets which had been installed a near two feet too high, resulting in the "lower" counter top chest high, and the upper cabinets almost completely out of reach-the result cutting labor efforts. And whenever we did point out changes that needed to be done his set pat answer was "That's not easy." Those words more telling than he knew and try to go above his head did no good as he forthcoming with any direct phone number or individual's true name. His only loyalty was to cover his tracks and protect his company from any complaints.
After weeks of this ongoing torture, we finally started to get visits by the city inspector, and to no one's surprise things were done incorrectly or not at all. It was not uncommon for the same inspector to return daily only to ask "If no work was done-why am I here?". "Ryan" at least had the "courtesy" to warn us ahead of one of his inspections that "He's going to be upset."-an understatement.
By this time "Ryan's" contact with us-his contracted paying customers-was minimal and usually over a conference call between he, the homeowner and myself and almost always resulting in a screaming match when he would evade, deny and generally excuse himself from any responsibility. In person it was worse "Ryan's" insults, disrespect and pandering sexist remark to the homeowner (a highly educated doctor who runs two businesses simultaneously) of her not understanding his personal suffering: "You can multi-tasking because you're a woman-I can't.". It seems that multi-tasking would be a basic job requirement for contractors. Soon after this escalated as we were forced to point out addition problems, his pointing of fingers in our face and shouting at us-in our own home-"YOU'RE LIARS!" before dramatically storming out-once again walking away from his responsibility in true Drama Queen Diva fashion.
Now well over two solid months into this nightmare, we were still not done yet but were continually being shaken down to sign off on the job-once "Ryan" actually contacting the Heidi the homeowner-on Easter Sunday and while she lay in a hospital bed dealing with a very serious health issue flare up. The job in our mind was not completed as no work on the master bathroom had be done whatsoever, and when a meeting needed to be arraigned it was brought to our attention that the original agreement did not include any work other than replacing the floor in the master-but that they would be happy to do the job-for a hefty upsell price. And "Ryan" dared pull yet another questionable bit of trickery on us. According to his "experts" we had traces of mold in the untouched bathroom, but once again it was "no problem" and high-end numbers began to fly to fix it. Not gonna happen. It was then we finally went with another contractor to complete the work, one that actually did the job on time and for the price quoted, all while staying in calm honest communication with us the entire time. -and not surprisingly a second test for mold showed NOTHING.
At this point "Ryan" was as done with us as we were of him and Pro Star-but there were a few more details that needed addressing. A yard full of flattened corrugated boxes and other packing and shipping materials from the various cabinets and appliances along with assorted trash from the cabinet assembly and tile cutting had been piled high in our yard covering our newly planted bushes and a small amount of e-waste sitting for weeks again making it difficult to park (see photos), needed to be cleared and properly disposed of. When made aware of the mess that was left behind "Ryan's" flat-out response to us was "So throw it out." and it was only after I so gladly reminded him that he was clearly in violation of his contract stating that all debris left behind will be cleared did he finally, eventually and grudgingly send someone to (mostly) clean it up.
During a meeting on the final sign off of job completion day came "Ryan" had the gall to try to rob us again. It seems he needed an additional $1000 "for overages"-ones he couldn't explain or identify and had no paperwork to back it up with. When we flat out said that without some kind of receipt and on top of the months of problems and inconvenience, (reminding him of the fire law/paver issue his response was "Are you STILL talking about THAT?!") he was not getting another penny, a quick (and private outdoor) call was made to his office and magically that "overage charge" was "waved as a courtesy", and with that he was finally-and gratefully out of our lives-but Pro Star was not.
A call from someone named Koral emotionally concerned about the poor Yelp review Heidi the homeowner had posted led to a promise of "all problems corrected and 'a substantial refund'" in order to get it removed (i.e. bribe). We MIGHT have considered after a few minor corrections were indeed made, had we not received a second unsolicited call from a male literally telling us "You'd better take that review down because we've done all the corrections we're going to do for you." and claiming that "I know nothing of any refund-let alone a substantial one.". Once speaking with Koral again the refund had now withered to "Maybe a couple of thousand dollars-and then just to make you happy." as if that was even possible. While overcharged by many tens of thousands of dollars, at this point we didn't feel like accepting tip money to shut up. And we were not at all surprised that "Ryan" is (as of this writing) still in their employ. Nice to know that one can act like a total jerk, be completely incompetent at their job, treat their customers like dirt, lie, cheat and break the law-and still not get fired.
We are (still) fine with paying fair market value for materials and work performed in line with the other quoted prices we got but Pro Star's major concern was that if they even got close to price matching, "We would lose our 15-20% profit and may even have to file for bankruptcy.". Where do I begin with this? After robbing, inconveniencing and insulting us, these people still think they're ENTITLED to any profit-let alone one of $30-$40,000?!?
Obviously Pro Stars only concern from the beginning was cleaning out our bank account for every last dime we had, ignoring us as often as they could and giving us attitude when they were forced to respond to our questions and concerns.
Easy for anyone to remember: "Pro Star is No Star".
Do yourself a favor and run-do not walk, as fast and as far as you can from these people. You will dodge a bullet as we only wish we had.

Very bad service: people in the leasing office are extremely rude, it is impossible to call them or you’re gonna wait for the response forever. Just talk to someone you need to call them literally for a week, like a few times a day. We didn’t get approved only because our last leasing office cannot provide private information to them, it’s insane. We lost a lot of time and money because of them. Not recommend at all

To add insult to injury, I passed our after one of their technicians increased the laser strength beyond a reasonable amount. I passed out from the pain, hitting my head on the concrete of their parkinglot.
I was unable to work for 3 months. When I awoke from the fall I had to call the receptionist to let her know I needed help. She didn't emerge from the office for a full 15 minutes.
I could have had severe brain damage or been run over by a car in their parkinglot.
not to mention their scheduling service is highly unprofessional. I've waited an hour to be treated. I've been told I arrived 30 minutes too early, made to wait another 40 minutes. Been told me appointment time was an entirely different time of day after arriving at the clinic. Highly unprofessional and frankly scary to see "medical" professionals operating a business so unprofessionally.

them. It’s not unlikely that making reasonable complaints here (which inevitably result from living here) will lead to staff trying to set you up to cover their own mistakes. If the staff doesn’t like you (for any random reason), they will use petty and unprofessional tactics on you. If you rely on the 1 elevator instead of the stairs, they will keep the elevator turned off as long as possible after being cleaned, even after the cleaning people have cleared it for use. If there is an issue with payment, it will be brought up publicly in front of other tenants instead of discreetly in the office. Don't expect that paying your rent on time and treating the staff with respect will save you from the mistreatment here. The people who run this place have no common decency or respect for other people. They will take advantage of you every chance they get – when they’re actually around; there is no residential manager and the office is almost always empty.
This place is criminally dangerous! A worker climbed up a tree onto our balcony and ILLEGALLY trespassed after we told him to stop. The manager never even apologized and actually excused his behavior! The worker was never fired and they begged us not to call the police yet within a week, another apartment was broken into and vandalized. Still, no one was fired and no cops were called. The parking garage gate is constantly broken and stuck in a wide open position so any random person can gain access to the building. As a result, the code constantly needs to be changed on the clickers. Additionally, sometimes the lights in the parking garage go out and it’s completely dark – very dangerous!
The building is wired horribly. You never know which electrical outlet is going to spark at you when you try to use it. Outlets are set up near sinks instead of wide open counters, making it complicated and dangerous to navigate. There are times when the hot water gets shut off WITHOUT NOTICE. The water pipes are also very rusty, so expect to see orange and brown water coming out. Expect to be cleaning on a constant basis otherwise mold/mildew will start growing within days. Maintenance is slow here so when the washer and/or dryer units break, it can be weeks to months before they are fixed. A washer once sat with the dirtiest, smelliest water sitting in it for almost an entire month! The carpets in the hallways are disgusting and have stains all over them that look disconcertingly old. The carpet in the hallways is probably from the 1970s (it looks like the “original”). Seems like the management here has never heard of “steam cleaning” a carpet… The cleaning people use products that smell incredibly toxic! If you have to use the elevator, you may find yourself trying to hold your breath because the “clean smell” is so overwhelming. (Not to mention the fact that the one and only elevator in the building does NOT have any legal permit posted - most buildings at least have an expired certificate posted…)
The call box sometimes randomly stops working so you’ll never know if you can buzz someone up or not until they get there. At least one time the mail wasn’t delivered because the code to get in wasn’t working and the manager wouldn’t answer her phone (big shocker!). The postal worker just left without delivering the mail that day, thanks to the horrible management here. So expect delays in getting your mail if you live here – that is, if it isn’t stolen after it finally gets into the building. On multiple occasions, checks have been stolen from the office mail box. There are lots of problems here with the mail…
If your unit is close to any of the stairs, expect your apartment to shake as people use them. Also expect a shaking and/or loud slam anytime someone comes through the building’s front or side doors. The walls are super thin so expect to hear your neighbors and for them to hear you. You’ll also hear anyone in the hallway too. If you do not live on the top floor, it sounds like elephants live upstairs. There are constantly homeless people out front yelling profanities and insults – especially at night. Expect to hear the police and helicopters during the day (also stopping traffic right in front of the building) and firetruck sirens in the middle of the night because of a fire or domestic dispute from the homeless who reside in the alley and under the freeway just a few doors down.
Money is wasted here on cosmetic, superficial changes to manipulate and entice new customers instead of focusing on the structural changes that actually need fixing. Don't let the lobby fool you – it’s the nicest part of the entire building. Any functional changes that are made to this building are most likely the result of a major fire breaking out (like the one in 2009), a lawsuit, or some government enforcement. Whatever amount they’re asking for rent is probably too much considering the quality presented. There are many places that are much cheaper yet with much better upkeep and at least halfway decent management. Read the reviews and find a better spot!
If you do happen to move here:
- Make sure you list anything that isn’t perfect in excruciating detail on the move-in sheet or it will likely be used against you later. They will look for any reason to keep your deposit here.
- Make sure you get everything in writing and trust nothing that isn't; Read your lease thoroughly before signing it and take nothing for granted! The people who run this building are incredibly petty and vindictive and will use anything they can against you. They are not beyond writing lies so make sure to keep your own documentation in excruciating detail. Take pictures! Be ready to use your camera whenever dealing with “management” here as they have been known to lie and deny basic tenant rights!

Donna is one of the worst lawyers I've ever dealt with, she is extremely unprofessional and out right ghetto. She missed several timely emails with the oppositions lawyer that caused us to lose the opportunity to mediate. She then hits us with a 20k+ in legal fees and said you should just settle and pay them 35k. I would never recommend her or her firm to anyone, unless your looking for an unprofessional and incompetent lawyer.
