This place could use a deep cleaning and some maintenance. This place was awesome when it opened but has since gone downhill. Sign on door says credit card machines may not work. Get them fixed! Its unacceptable, that sign has been there for the past month.
— Don't book tickets online, just go early and get them. Saves you 2 dollars. — Bring your own candy, its ridiculously expensive.

We've lived in J-town for about 4Β½ years and this was our first visit to Xscape. Now I'm kicking myself that it took so long.
The movie? DUNE. I know that it was available for streaming at the same time, but some movies you have to see on the Big Screen. We were in theater X2, which has a seriously BIG SCREEN. Something like 70 feet across and 3 stories tall.
And speakers? 8 along each side, and 8 along the back…and then I think there were 16 in the ceiling. SIXTEEN. I didn't even notice the overhead speakers until the promo before the movie called them out. That adds up to A LOT of speakers.
We had pre-purchase our tickets, so we went right to the concession stand. Popcorn and Pibb? Yes, please! For a small bag of popcorn and a medium drink it was only $12. Based on current concession trends that's actually very reasonable.
Behind the concession counter is the drink/butter station. The age old “how do I get the butter farther down in the bag” scenario appears and there's just no way to do it without making a mess, so don't try.
The seating in X2 is very stadium, very roomy, very non-obstruction-y, and very awesome. The seats are enormous and recline nearly all the way back. Now THIS is comfort. I will admit that the leather is a bit....aged…but it still sits nicely. There's also plenty of leg room for those that are apt to get up in the middle of the movie. No need to re-create the Bugs Bunny scene as he moves down the aisle saying “Excuse me. Pardon me. Excuse me. pardon me”.
Once the movie started it was a great experience. That enormous screen coupled with the incredible digital projection was BEE-YOO-TI-FUL. Add to that the completely immersive sound and it was a fantastic movie experience.
I'm kicking myself because I hadn't gotten to Xscape sooner, but now I want to see ALL my movies in that theater.β¦ β show

“leather” on the reclining seats is looking a little worn these days, but I still think this is the most comfortable theater in town. Xtreme rooms are nice for the tent pole features--good sound and picture.

We saw Halloween Kills at 9:50 pm. It was the last show and the theater was packed. The staff did an excellent job all around.

Theater conditions are deteriorating quickly. Almost all seat backs in X1 theater are bare, meaning the leather has been worn down to a fabric layer only. Very unsightly. Then 2 out of 3 faucets in the Womens restroom don’t work. Toilets unflushed for other theater goers to flush. We are paying $12 per ticket and it’s no longer worth that price. Owners aren’t keeping the theaters cleaned or maintained.

The floor by the Concessions area was all wet. Almost busted my rear from the drink stand to rug going towards the theater. The leather seats in theater were worn down to the fabric and the fabric was black. The leather was also peeling on the other chairs. They should be blocking out those seats when scheduling. Overall the one star is mainly due to cleanlines.

Great seats as in super plush and soft. They recline so you can get extra comfortable. Prices aren't bad I think 15.50 for adults and 12 for children. Really nice theater. Was clean and they had a friendly staff. A highly recommend
