Without a doubt the most well preserved and managed battlefield I have ever seen. Should be on everyone's bucket list. From Burnside's Bridge to the bloody lane this place is well preserved, documented and very somber.

Nice historical park. Small but very well kept and informative. The junior rangers workbooks and badges were great for the kids.

Excellent park. Cool lighthouse, lots of war history information, very cool wood sculptures all along the pier, and it connects to the promenade for some extended bayside walking. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

I have helped my 2nd family reunion here I also grew up in this community.

Drove hours out of my way to go to the memorial. Upon arrival there are new gates with armed officers. Couldn't see the memorial because of covid. Very disappointed that I cannot go to an outdoor memorial.
