This was my first time buying a real tree as an adult. I stopped by other vendors to see prices, I was surprised to see that the optimist lot had a very nice selection (went on 11/28) and they were cheaper than the other vendor. I was willing to pay a little extra at this lot because it supports a great cause, but did not need to.

They were pretty busy but were willing to answer questions and work to fix the slight lean in the tree I wanted. The prices were listed on the card and all the trees were tagged and color coded so I need what to look for. Once I picked the tree the check out process was so easy. They do take cards and by the time we paid the tree was on our car being tied down. We brought our own straps but they used twine they had.

We had an errand to run after getting the tree before heading home and the tree held perfectly. Once we got it home we shook it a little to get some of the old pine needles off, the tree was still perfect and full.

I will be returning each year and am VERY pleased with how easy it was to get a tree.

Great place to get a tree and the proceeds go to great causes in the community. Plus, you can donate two cans of food and get $5 off and help those in need at the same time. Couldn't ask for a better place to get a tree during the season of giving…

They had the best selection of trees by far. I was very impressed. We were looking for a taller tree, and this early in december it seemed everywhere else only had medium to smaller trees. The Meridian Optimist tree lot had all sizes, and we found the perfect tree for us.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even offered to cut the base, and they loaded and tied the tree down too. Great service, and a good price. We will definitely visit them again for our tree next year.

The volunteers were friendly and helpful, they gave us plenty of time to look around at the Christmas trees, and once we had chosen the right tree they tied it to our vehicle for us. If you like they will even trim the bottom off your tree for you. If you’re looking for reasonably priced Christmas tree and a welcoming Christmas tree lot, look no further than the Meridian Optimist Christmas tree lot off of Meridian Rd and Franklin Rd.

This was the third lot we visited and had the best selection and prices. There were about 5 men ready to help with questions and advice. Bill was very kind and helpful. Wear boots because it’s a little wet and muddy but that keeps the trees fresh and they saw off the bottom and load it into the truck.

We are typically “cut your own tree” people, but this year due weather we decided to buy. We went to two other lots and I almost fell over when I saw a 4ft scraggly tree with $78 price tag. Meridian Optimist had great trees for a reasonable price. Best part, the gentleman were super helpful standing up all the trees that had blown over so I could pick out the best tree! Thank you! We have been coming here for the past four years to get our Christmas tree. They are amazing and super helpful. The prices are great as well. The kids love getting a candy cane. We love that the money goes back into the community. This year they are at the meridian speedway!

Big beautiful trees with amazing prices. We drove all over from Nampa to Meridian looking and they have the best looking trees and best prices. Very friendly and helpful. They even loaded up our tree and tied it down.
