they would only perform wound cleaning and transfer him to orthopedic surgery for amputation of the entire foot in 48 hours, if he lived that long. Our wish was for him to have pain relief and be sedated for a thorough cleaning and examination to determination the extent of the injury. Because the vet was so hostile and impatient, making it clear he would not receive the care he needed, because the kitty had other health conditions, and because the nearest alternative emergency hospital was 250 miles away, we made the decision, under duress, to euthanize. After his death we were able to determine that the injury likely could have been treated with simple amputation of the toes at the first joint, if EMERGENCY surgery were performed. We wrongly assumed an emergency vet hospital would have that capability. We chose the wrong hospital. We were also charged a simply outrageous fee of $500 for a simple euthanasia, with no other care provided. The vet barely looked at our pet and did not lay hands on him or examine him. She treated him like an inanimate object. We chose not to complain or make any fuss in the moment, for the sake of our kitty's comfort and anxiety level. We made the decision to euthanize based on our anxiety for his pain level, and our wish not to subject him to an additional five hour drive in his condition (we had already transported him two hours). We would NEVER choose to use this clinic again under any circumstances. It was a very traumatic and regretful experience. The lack of emergency veterinary care in rural communities is becoming a true crisis, and even the worst of care, as demonstrated at Blue Pearl, is prohibitively expensive for most people.

I called Billy to take a look at deck on home that I was under contract with. During inspection, the deck was flagged for not being up to code and the inspector recommended I reach out to a contractor for a second opinion as they thought it would make more sense to remove than try to fix due to the number of issues with the deck.

than 3 hours later I met Billy at the home where he took a look at the deck thoroughly explaining and pointing out everything that would need to be fixed.
Billy's approach in assessing the deck was to try and save as much as the new boards as possible (they were new since the deck expansion was COVID project and they had bought the highest quality materials) which really means he looks for the most cost effective solution when fixing and/or building a deck.
Billy had shortly after provided me a full write up of what would need to changed to make the deck up to code and provided me with a quote to fix it.
In the hurry to get the deck finalized, I had sent a few of the pics to other contractors, and they came back with a pricing range too but it was nearly double for the deck. Billy's quote was the lowest by a long shot! He's not going to try to oversell you or up-charge you anything.
Throughout the week as counter offers on the house went back and forth, Billy was readily available and provided long detailed responses back to follow up questions. You're not going to get that level of communication, explanation and care anywhere else. It is so evident that Billy knows his stuff and has a care for the craft. He's quick, talented, very knowledgable, and communicative.
He's also up to date on all code and builder regulations.
If you're looking to build or expand your deck, or want an honest, reliable opinion on something, I cannot recommend Billy and Tonka Decks more.
The counters on the house ultimately fell through, not in my favor, due to the current homeowner not wanting to do anything to make the deck up to code, but Billy will be the first person I call if my future home has decking needs, and the first I recommend when asked!

The glass immediately began showing fine scratches from daily use. Within a month, the screen developed an oval crack in the middle that ran across the front, despite the lack of traumatic events. This time I took the phone to an authorized Samsung dealer (UBREAKIFIX) and was given all the necessary forms for submitting to the insurance company without asking or paying. The price was $342! Nearly half what I paid a month earlier. The phone was fixed with genuine Samsung glass and the tech noted that the glass installed was subpar and from a 3rd party manufacturer.
I contacted the Techmate owner, relayed the story and he did look into it. He chalked it up to bad luck with supply prices. I was looking for a more substantial restitution but was offered $60 and an improved estimate. I declined the money but took the estimate which I never received.
While I cannot recommend Techmate for screen repair, I am impressed with the responsiveness of the owner, despite the lack of a mutually satisfactory resolution. I also think that this establishment needs to review their paper trail and figure out a way to provide the needed forms for insurance claims, without asking. A written bill/invoice should be standard in a business no matter how big, when parts and labor are involved..
I also learned to shop around!
The business owner was very rude! He was rude to me I was trying to acquire a service and he kept intimating me on the phone. The phone number is listed on public records as a business phone number. Do not recommend this business to anyone!

Dr Maria Cook is a fantastic doctor. Not only for myself but She was on top of my father's oxygen needs immediately. After 5 other Dr visits elsewhere no one qualified him for oxygen.He was at a 85 level. He literally has many complications with copd and from mesothelioma from the service. No more VA or maplewood lung clinic waste of time and. She is so educated and we appreciate all she does! Thank you!

I want to start by making it very clear that we never actually received child care from Emma Lou Daycare/Kyrra. But being that her ineptitude put our family in an incredibly tough spot, and at zero fault of our own, we feel completely justified leaving a one-star review. Below is a brief timeline of our interactions.

a bit of inexperience, and some minor cleanliness things, such as what appeared to be a soiled diaper left right next to the changing table, opposed to being put in the diaper bin a couple inches to the left, we really liked what we saw in regards to both the space, and Kyrra herself. She seemed fun, and to enjoy doing this line of work. The space had plenty of room, and seemed to be well-stocked with toys and supplies. It was pretty messy, but it was the end of the day when we got there, so that may be expected. Ultimately, we were excited to proceed, and were relieved to finally find a child care situation we were enthusiastic about.
12/28: Paperwork was sent to us, and all fees were paid, including payments for the first two weeks. We were locked in, with childcare scheduled to start 1/4.
12/30: Kyrra sends an email stating that starting mid-January, (yes, January, which is only a couple days away), rates would be increasing by ~15%, and her working hours would be reduced. This was never brought up during our tour, nor during multiple prior correspondences. In fact, during the tour, working hours were specifically asked about. Furthermore, the invoice we received for the first two weeks payments reflected the rates we were anticipating, and not the increased amounts; another logical place where the thought of alerting us of quickly approaching price changes should have been recognized.
12/31: A concerned, but respectful, email was sent to Kyrra explaining how this didn't align with what we were signing up for, and the real concern being that we had just met days prior and none of this was brought up in any way, shape, or form. We definitely felt blindsided.
Later in the day, Kyrra responded, saying it was an afterthought that slipped her mind. This is a pretty big thing to continually forget to communicate with new clients, but I digress. She then goes on to say, that while it has nothing to do with our email about us not being comfortable with the sudden rate hikes that we were completely oblivious to, our spot was being revoked to be given back to a child whose family had previously stated they were leaving.

So, to put everything in perspective, over the course of three days, we toured, agreed to join, paid all necessary fees and began filling out paperwork, were blindsided by nearly immediate price hikes and reduced hours, and then had our spot revoked. On top of all of that, being a long holiday weekend, we were left with virtually zero standard working days to try and react and find child care for our little one. Regardless of whether we were being given, and paid for, a spot Kyrra didn’t actually have available to give, or if we were being left in the cold because of retaliation for not agreeing to immediate price increases, the fact of the matter is we were blatantly lied to. As far as we’re concerned, dishonesty has to be one of the least desirable qualities you can think of when it comes to a child care provider, especially because of the responsibility and trust you bestow on them when they’re watching your little one.
When you commit to a family, and the family commits to you, this behavior is completely unacceptable, especially to do it at the absolute last minute when they're relying on you the most. While I can't really comment on the actual child care Kyrra provides, I have zero hesitancy is saying she absolutely lacks professionalism in the way she runs her business. If she can continually forget to mention crucial details like quickly approaching hour changes and price increases, despite multiple opportunities to do so, I can only assume there are aspects of childcare that also "slips her mind" on occasion, which would make me nervous about having our child in her care. Because of that, while it put our family in a real bind, we're ultimately viewing it as us dodging a bullet, and our little guy will ultimately be in a better situation because of it.
I was with my service dog at the QuikTrip 141 store in two harbors, MN, on 12-4-22 at around 3 pm. All was well till I had a PTSD trigger and anxiety attack.
My dog did exactly what he was trained to do. Deep pressure therapy. I then was asked by a worker named India to leave cause it was and I quote 'not safe due to it being a safety hazard.'. This is completely untrue, as I was out of the main path, and not harming or obstructing anything.

The local police department recently had its own training on service animals if you need this location to contact them for proper legal protocols.

My loved one stayed for a couple days, the staff was very attentive and kind but the owners disregarded many of their cares. Frequently giving medications not prescribed and letting them lay in waste when they acted up. No ones loved one should stay here even if cheaper than a nursing home.

to redo my deck. I sent him drawings and descriptions of how we wanted to do it. He agreed to the full job and began the work. Soon winter set in and he said he would come back in the spring to finish up. Spring came around and he ignored all correspondence until telling a third party I had to find another contractor. He was not going to finish his job.
The bad: Chris is known by his subcontractors to take on too many jobs; to over-commit. He is known by his customers not to communicate or be timely. He is known by local realtors to not finish his work. They say we got more done than many have.
Finish the job, and I'm more than happy to give Chris a good review. Three years of good work with him, and he ruined it in the end.

Rob was compassionate and reassuring throughout our encounters with him and he took Rocky under his care for nearly three weeks, helping him learn how to listen. . The service tech drives my vehicle hauling @ss into the parking lot. My vehicle smells like it’s smoking & running at a higher than normal temp on the gauge. Instantly I thought that was odd. Then I get a few miles down the road and light that has never been on all of a sudden turns on - check engine light. What did they do to my vehicle!!?? They KNEW I was fixing it to sell it tonight & now I can’t even sell it as planned, with this light on. The manager Evan did nothing to rectify this situation. He offered no real help other than bring it to somewhere to read a code. Why should I have to bring it in period when I just paid for it to be serviced. Needless to say, bring your business to a place that will take care of you & not cause more issues than you came there with. I will be notifying my attorney, because this is absolutely unacceptable.
I had to bring the vehicle in somewhere else to read the codes & there 14 new codes after TGK had my vehicle.
Also, the driver side door handle was broken on our vehicle now - which it was not before - never had issues with it.

Buyer beware!! Do not buy any of the recreational ATV, Go-Karts, Dirt bikes.... They do not stand behind them. They will mislead you with how reliable they are and never had any problems with them. Ours failed after less then 10hrs. Did not offer any help working with the manufacturer and blamed by 11 yr old son for its failure. If you are in need of orthotics, do not use this place. It doesn't seem that the podiatrist at Pinnacle (Burnsville) or anyone at the third-party orthotic fabrication company is a certified ***thist. If either is, it makes matters worse. Regardless, no one in this process seemed qualified to assess my arch support needs, leaving amateurs at Promet Custom Foot Orthotics to basically approximate.

, which cost me $500 for what initially was a very flat piece of plastic with very slight arch support. When I brought this huge disparity to Pinnacle's attention, they refused to refund my $500, insisting I work directly with Promet. The Podiatrist admitted that he was "a middle man."
I did work directly with Promet but was shocked at their lack of knowledge and the fact they expected me to tell them what I needed, as opposed to a trained professional assessing my needs and designing orthotics to properly correct my arches to alleviate knee, hip, and back pain.
A truly professional and qualified company with a certified ***thist will carefully analyze a patient as he stands and walks and will also interview him (and actually listen) to properly determine what his feet need to correct the arches and overall foot alignment, which alleviates all related pain.
I've been wearing orthotics for more than 25 years and needed an updated pair. I made the horrible mistake of going to Pinnacle (and Promet) and received poorly manufactured duplicates of my original orthotics. Luckily, Promet's incompetence resulted in a very slight improvement (by accident) over my original pair.
And lastly, when I requested some minor tweaks to these, Promet again showed it's incompetence by performing one of the requests on the wrong orthotic, the right instead of the left, and the minor requested tweak to the right doesn't even appear to have been performed.
