I’ve been a client here for 15 years. Since I was super young my mother would bring me in. LaRae and Dr. Jensen have been nothing but amazing, professional and very personable. I will use Smile Design as long as I live in the Twin Cities. Top Tier people and experience in all aspects every single time!

Smile Design is the best!! The modern technology helped diagnose my problems. Dr. Moore and his assistant produced great results. The dentist's technique also made my procedures pain free. My dental hygienist did great work and pain free also, unbelievable!! I give Smile Design and A Plus....

I have been a patient at Smile Design for over 20 years. I have never been less than delighted by the care they deliver. They do great work In their hi tech, comfortable, relaxing and pain free clinic. I highly recommend them if you want healthy teeth and gums

Switched from my life long dentist to work with Dr. Bertrand again. She is an amazing dentist and an absolute professional. She is very good explaining the what, why, and how of everything that is happening with my teeth. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an awesome dentist! Also, Smile Design staff was super friendly. The waiting room was comfortable and clean. My hygienist Kerry was also great and a pleasure to talk with.

Dr Moore makes you feel very comfortable and explains everything before hand so you know what to expect. All of their techs are great to work with and always on point with Dr. Moore, if not you’ll notice he begins tapping his feet. He’s got great dad jokes too like knock knock. Who’s there? Smellmop. Smellmop who??

I don’t even know where to start—Dr.Jensen and the whole team at Smile Design are truly amazing. My family of four have been going to Smile Design for many years; we have probably received care from everyone there!!:) I have had cosmetic dentistry done by Dr. Jensen, both kids see him for ortho (both are not cut and dry cases—one will eventually need his expertise in cosmetic dentistry), my husband is the only “simple case” in that he just goes in for cleaning every 6 months. We have been seen b y Dr. Moore and Dr. Bertrand as well! I could go on and on! Thank you to everyone at Smile Design for taking care of us!

We see Dr. Moore and the entire Smile Design Dentistry team for our family dentistry needs. Not only are they professional in their approach with you but also personable. We always feel welcome whenever we have appointments, and they also go over and beyond in ensuring they provide as much feedback and answers to our questions as needed. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jensen (Smile Design Dentistry). He has changed the way I view dentists. I had fear of pain due to past experiences and needed nitrous Oxide to supplement pain control & calm me down because I was used to ALWAYS feeling sharp pain in the middle of a larger procedure like a deep cavity, root canal or crown. Dr. Jensen was kind and showed empathy and asked me to trust in his skills. I did. Fast forward a few years; I have a fully restored mouth, no pain or sensitivity, no fear of any procedure, and I now understand what a visit *should* be. He is a pro at anesthesia- you barely feel the needle, you get numb in exactly the spot being worked on, and it wears off right as he's finished so you aren't numb for the rest of the day! Best of all, you don't feel the procedure at all (I have had major work like root canal, crown, veneer, provisionals, extraction, braces and invisilign). He also has an eye for asthetics and making a perfect smile! I was always told that I could never have braces because my teeth would always revert back. Dr Jensen found a solution. When I first went to him, I needed a LOT of work. Previous dentists had said it was too big of a job & they would only work on anything causing pain. I also had budget constraints. Dr Jensen took a phased approach that resolved all my issues with my exact budget in mind. He started with temporary work to rid me of pain and allow everything to calm down, then he worked on the permanent crowns on the areas where temporaries would fail quickest, then braces to straighten and close the gap on my front teeth and fix my bite, and finally the conversion of all temporary fixes into permanent ones!

Much of the work needed was due to work by other dentists that caused more harm than good. I had a clicking jaw/TMJ/bite was off purely due to other work done that was sub-par! Cavities were not filled in as deeply as needed because I never got fully numb so they would just “stop” at the point they were at because they couldnt get me numb! This caused an abscess!. Other “horror stories” include: assistants giving anesthesia (one side of my face fully numb, including the area around my eye & most of my nose); Never getting fully numb/having more anesthesia put directly into my tooth mid-procedure & STILL not work; and a crown placement (Friday afternoon) which resulted in horrendous pain once I regained feeling (after hours) that was on or too close to the nerve. I was lucky enough to go to an ER with a Dr who kept a dental box…and gave me a nerve block to get me through until Monday. Monday, I had to get a root canal because of this (I originally did not need one). Later on, It was discovered that the root canal was not deep enough & caused an absess/infection (NO SYMPTOMS)- ultimately resulting in extraction & implant needed. This was a perfectly good tooth that I no longer have due to an incompetent dentist!

IF you are still reading & have not fallen asleep yet, just know that there are excellent dentists out there! If you have had any of the bad experiences noted above…please find a new dentist! I highly recommend Smile Design. They also have received numerous awards (I understand why). In any case- being afraid of a dentist or having sub-par work on your mouth is not something you should have to live with! Also, I want to mention Liz in the finance/billing Dept @ Smile Design. I have spent hours with her- going over Insurance & what they will pay, finance options, etc etc. She is very kind, non-judgemental, helpful & used to working with people that are on a budget. I really do love Smile Design & recommend them to people I know. And NO, I did not get paid or get a discount on anything for this review. They are just THAT good…and I want to thank Dr Jensen from the bottom of my heart. … – show
