    Yuki is the absolute best EVER. There is no one more caring or more attentive than him (And I trust very few people with my hair). I have gotten blow outs, haircuts and multiple hair treatments from Yuki and I promise you there is no one better in the city. I have gone to top nyc salons for years, and I have very difficult, curly/thick hair and he knows exactly what to do, always. He is the best of the best, a true talent.     This place is amazing!!!!! Katie is so talented, I now have the hair of my dreams! The salon itself is beautiful and the whole staff was very accommodating! I will be returning!

    Jamie is the best, sweetest, funnest hair stylist ever, and returning to her every few weeks for a bang trim or bigger cut is always such a joy!! The salon overall is really nice, from the other stylists always being super nice, to the cool rising bed things when you get your hair washed, to the heated toilet (yup). It's also in such a great location. We stan!

    I. Love. This. Place. Everyone is adorable and sweet and hilarious! The salon is hella clean and modern and perfectly decorated. I got my hair done by Katie and I left feeling myself so hard. I would get my hair done everyday if I could just so I could see all the babes there. 10/10 bathroom, as well. Go here!!!!!

    I was referred to A Grand Union by a friend who loved her experience, and my experience far exceeded my expectations! The staff is incredibly friendly, the space has a great vibe and atmosphere, and the stylists do an amazing job! I'm obsessed with my new haircut, thanks to Jamie (I HIGHLY recommend her as a stylist!)! Jamie did a really careful job on my hair, and was so fun to chat to!     Jamie made me look and feel incredible! She was incredibly attentive, kind and did an amazing job with my very long blonde hair. The salon is super cute and clean as well. I can’t wait to go back!

    Found my new salon! I spent a lot of time looking at others places in the area, comparing reviews, pictures and costs and my search brought me to A Grand Union! Katie Farrell totally changed the game for me. Most other stylists I’ve been to will start the haircut by commenting on damage or suggesting products to fix it.     My new go-to salon! The space is great and their washing stations are awesome—first time I’ve left a salon without a sore neck the next day! Cody did a fantastic job with my blonde highlights, will definitely be back!

    I came to A Grand Union for root touch up and copper/ginger glaze. When I first came, I wasn’t fully happy with the end results of my roots, but luckily, Katherine (my stylist) and the whole team there were so open and eager to make sure I was taken care of and happy with my hair. I came back the next day and not only did she fully explain everything to me, she fixed my roots and just like that, my confidence was boosted.     I had a great experience here at A Grand Union! Jamie did an amazing job with my hair. She was able to take my light brownish hair to a perfect shade of blonde, that I'm completely obsessed with! Her knowledge and attention to detail truly shines in her work. She's great at walking you through everything she's doing and making sure you're satisfied throughout the whole process.     where do i even begin? the hospitality is so great, they make you feel so welcomed. they make sure if you're comfortable and give amazing services here. definitely recommend, shoutout to jamie!! she gave me such a great quality time there and I sincerely enjoyed my time talking to her. 10/10 <3

    Katherine did a perfect job for the Japanese Straightening!!! My hair is so soft and shine. She’s also a very lovely person who gave me super relaxing scalp massage:)

    Jamie is the best! Every time I've come in and thrown a crazy request at her she's able to put it together for me in the best way! Even when I don't really know what I'm talking about or what the final product I want is she somehow knows exactly what I'm talking about and always delivers. And the rest of the staff is always so nice and welcoming, just the best place!

    The only stylist that touches my hair is Jamie! I can never give her a definite answer on what I want for my hair, but she does her best to work with me and at the end it’s always magic. What makes it better is just her amazing & genuine personality. You can definitely tell she loves what she does. You can always ask her questions for tips & general hair care too.     I recently started coming to Katherine Farfan at A Grand Union after my hair stylist of 4 years left Manhattan during the pandemic. After my first cut, all nerves about finding a new hair stylist went away as Katherine did an excellent job executing on what I wanted. I recently decided to pull the trigger on my first balayage — Katherine listened to what I wanted and took the time to explain the process and maintenance required. I am so so happy with the results!
