    Salon Vivari was completely quiet on a Saturday — they had only one client and one manicurist when I walked in. There was a 30 minute wait which I made because I was in the area for a class. The salon was clean, relaxing, and the service provided was friendly. Mani + Pedi was $35 which was higher than I would expect to pay in NYC but there isn't much competition for salons in that immediate area and also this is a Spa with many other treatment options so perhaps that's why they charge more…

    After passing Vivari Day Spa for a year or so quite regularly, I decided to stop in when I was early for an appointment nearby. At 5:30pm, it was absolutely empty, but I'll chalk that up to the holiday. I popped in for a quick manicure and after 20 minutes, I walked out with wonderfully trimmed cuticles and a clear, strengthening polish that a few days later, left my nails as strong as ever.
