This Astoria gym is the only place in the city to Spin under open skies (unless you count, you know, riding a two-wheeler).

Come to this gym most mornings, and they have a very friendly staff and keep the gym pretty clean. Great to see happy, welcoming faces so early in the morning.

This isn't a complaint but an observation… It's cold enough in the locker room to store raw beef and sweltering in the back of the gym by the dumbbells. By the way, the mirrors by the 90lbs look like they haven't seen soap since quarantine.

Working out unmasked is ok. Definitely reminiscent of pre-covid. About 75% are unmasked. Only about 30 people at 645am. Staff is still masked. Still no towel service yet.
