est thing about Vivvi/Trinity is that there's a healthy balance between focusing on the needs of working parents and centering a rich, engaging experience for the kids. For your child, you want a clear lesson plan with good structure and lots of play, and as a parent, you want flexible hours and good communication. Other daycares in the neighborhood have more one or the other, but here you get both.

This isn't to say that there are little hiccups; there are little things everywhere. But our teachers run their own classrooms and have things like the health insurance that are not common in other early child education. You can feel the difference. Our ladies have been happy going to school and coming home every day, and if they are happy, we're happy.

Etc etc. Leah, the director of the school, was very rude upon answering my questions. She cut me off whenever I asked a question, she kept telling me she can't give me any answer, which is fine. But she was just not very compassionate nor nice. She tells me to call back in a month. And so a month rolls by and I call. I ask her what the status is, where we are on the waitlist and she tells me we are number 2. And to call back on Friday and that she'd have a definite answer. Called Friday, she's not in. Called Monday, she's not in. Called Tuesday, I finally get her. She picks up the phone and responds «yes I know you've been trying to call me.» Ok, can you please tell me why you are giving me this attitude? I ask her again, what's the status since she told me she'd have an answer. She tells me the days I want aren't available and gives me another option. I then tell her I need to talk to my husband about it and I'd call her back. I call her the next day and ask her if I can switch from 3 to 2 days instead. I also ask her if In the future, would we be able to go more days if our son enjoys school. I also then ask her what are the penalties if we withdrawal before our contract ends. She cuts me off and says; I don't think you're serious, you are asking too many questions that should've been discussed over the tour, I don't think this will be fitting for your family.

OKAY WOW. Extreme rude and extreme uncalled for. First of all, if I was not serious, I would not submit an application for $250. Do you think I spent that money for fun and games?! Do you think money grows on trees for me or something?!! I work hard for my money and I take whatever I spent my money on, seriously, especially my child's education and to put his care in others hands. Secondly, you should welcome parents with as many questions as they asked and answer it as many times as needed for all to understand. This is your profession, you've been doing this for a lifetime, so you should be very well experienced and equipped to answer any questions or concerns a parent has. No matter how many times is asked, how silly the question is or how inexperienced the questions may sound! I'm a first time mom, first time applying for preschool and you made me feel like you turned me down for asking questions and not understanding the process. Lastly, who are you to tell me you think my family is not fitting for the school? You have never met me in person, you've never met my child, and we've had very little short conversations over the phone (mostly of you telling me to call back) and that you don't guarantee anything.

I'm sorry trinity preschool, your school is run by such a nasty director who has no compassion for parents and lack of communication. It is very sad to see a person with that kind of attitude and demeanor be the face of a preschool and around young children.

I decided I won't be going with trinity anymore. She is not someone I would feel comfortable with my child being around and if I already feel afraid to call you now, let alone when my child goes to school
There. I was mistreated and disrespected for absolutely no reason. No mother should ever feel degraded when applying for preschool. What I thought would be a pleasant process turned out to be a complete disaster and so disappointing.

I would not want my child around Leah. I'm glad things happened the way it did. It really brings the truth out of people and such establishments that condone this type of behavior.
