    Disadvantages
    A Cornell doctor head of department referred me to this cardiologist as a new patient. All direct telephone lines are out of order. I got through on April 14th, and the receptionist told me the next appointment was in December. Her name is JUSTINE. According to JUSTINE, an eight month wait to see a cardiologist is normal and acceptable.

    Dr Rebecca was very Detail oriented and very thorough person. She had spend more than a hour in 1st visit. Going over family history, medical history and new plan of action to keep all my grafts open after my open heart bypass surgery. Ekg and echocardiogram was performed while I was in office. She called me in 2 hours to let me know the results of echo. I am very to have her as my cardiologist.

    Dr. Ascune and the staff at NYP are friendly and professional. They ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. Dr. Ascune was very good with medical screening. The service I received is commendable and I highly recommend her.

    Dr. Rebecca Ascunce is a wonderful MD I have been in her care for about 5 years and I must say she is so easy to talk to, she speaks to you so you can understand what's going on with you she is extremely thorough and is always a phone call away so if you are looking for a great cardiologist check out Dr. Ascunce.

      NOT TRUE. I tried for over 6 hours to get a phone to answer plus she has a waiting list on 8 months!

    Dr Ascunse means waiting for an appointment but if it’s urgent she will fit you in. She has very strong opinions about how things should be done but also listens to your concerns and can adjust care in a way that feels right.

    I would recommend Dr.Ascunce to anyone who has a heart problem. Since my bypass, she has been my help when in need. She is gracious, patient, and very knowledgeable. It has beeni my pleasure to work with her these past two years, and I hope she will be available to me in the future. God Bless her!

    I was extremely satisfied by Dr Ascunce’s actions and her response concerning the
    atrial fibrillation of my heart. She quickly scheduled my visit to the ER and under her directions the cardioversion procedure was followed. For all the above I thank her very much. Theodora Goneou

    Dr. Ascunse is a wonderful and brilliant Cardiologist, In addition to being empathetic
    and thoughtful. I am lucky to have found her.
    I have seen her since she arrived at Weil Cornel about ten years ago,and I consider myself very fortunate to have her as my Cardiologist.
