Dr. Rachel Villanueva has been my gynecologist for over 10 years, and she will continue to be my gynecologist until I die or she retires, whichever comes first! If you want to be treated as a WHOLE human being by a warm, knowledgable and empathetic doctor, she should be your top choice.

She does an initial consult in her office before you undress and get into that paper robe, so it's a conversation of equals. She asks questions about everything relating to your health since your last appointme

Six calls, two days, is what it takes to get my medication refilled.

One of the doctors prescribed the wrong refill quantities to begin with, and I didn't realize until two days prior to traveling, which should've been a sufficient amount of time to get this resolved.

Day 1 — a very annoyed-sounding lady did not understand why I needed a refill, and was rude throughout the entire phone call, and she proceeded to hang up without saying goodbye. I let that go. She told me to check with the pha

Dr. Villanueva helped us during our whole pregnancy. We are first time parents and were very scared and nervous. My wife is from a country where doctors spend time with you and allow you to ask as many questions as you have. We were both anxious about finding an OBGYN who could provide similar care. Our fears disappeared when we found Dr Villanueva. She is super knowledgeable and always allowed us the time we needed asking her questions and sharing our concerns. She has the style that you want t – show

Dr Rachel Villanueva is an Ivy League graduate and woman of color gynecologist! She is so professional and warm (sometimes)

In your first visit, she consults with you and answers any questions you have. It feels like she doesn't like to take question or answer questions we should already know but then again, perhaps she wishes we were more knowledgeable and well read or versed on woman parts…

She offer tests that you may be unfamiliar with. She values your comfort

I just switched to Dr. Villanueva as my on/gyn for general checkups, as my other doctor's office became a nightmare for scheduling and waiting several hours due to booming many patients at the same time. My first experience here was fantastic! Everyone was really helpful and positive, and I was in and out in exactly the time expected. Dr Villanueva took time to get to know me and discuss any needs or issues, never feeling rushed.

The E.40th Street location of Rosh Maternal is a superior location. The office is clean, bright and welcoming. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my appointment as the staff is super efficient. The nurse, sonogram tech and doctor are all highly professional and super friendly!
