A great place to go for a date night or with friends for a more artistic experience! I got tickets for my boyfriend and I and decided to check out their Midtown location. It is BYOB (and food/snacks!) so feel free to take advantage of that and bring whatever your stomach desires. The staff there are all very friendly, they assist you in getting settled once you check in with everything you would need. The walls of the room was decked out in all types of paintings they teach in other classes.

or the actual class, there was an instructor and their assistant. The instructor would walk us through each step of the painting while the assistant would walk around giving tips to everyone who might have had questions. You had 2 hours to complete the painting, which is definitely enough time for the most part. You're provided with all the necessary tools — canvas, paint brushes, paint, apron, etc. so no hassle there. I would suggest this spot for a date night/night out — you don't need any artistic talent to have fun here!

My girlfriend gifted me a couples painting session at the Painting Lounge as a gift for valentines day and this week we finally redeemed it! This class is known for a no frills approach to teaching beginners how to paint basic pieces while also creating a fun atmosphere with their BYOB option. We arrived at 6:45 with bottle in tow ready to see what our skills would produce.

you must ring a buzzer and one of the staff then lets you in. As you can imagine the space is filled with canvases and completed paintings from other classes. When we entered we were told which classroom we'd be in, allowed to store our bottles of wine in an onsite refrigerator, and then given our aprons and allowed to settle in while others arrived.

When the class started we were instructed by one of the staff while the other walked around and offered guidance through the steps being presented. Over the course of two hours this proved to be extremely helpful and efficient in keeping things moving and keeping us all on track in terms of steps.

I'd suggest this spot for a date night or a night out with a large group of friends. It was something new and got our creative juices flowing which is always great!
