My daughter, sister, & I all go to Chroma Salon, specifically Stevie Jo, & we are always thrilled with the results. She takes the extra time to really find out what results we're hoping for & goes out of her way to make sure we leave happy.

First time experience. I made an appointment 3 days prior to the scheduled day over the phone. I was leaving town for vacation and needed to be seen before I left town. I drove all the way there for my appointment only to be told that the stylist I was supposed to be meeting with was not there I sat there for 5 minutes until she just apologized for the scheduling issue. I had 3 confirmation text messages sent to me throughout the week and all they did was say sorry and that I couldn't be seen by anyone else either. I spent the whole day waiting for that appointment when I could have booked somewhere else or days before and got my hair done like I needed (only bangs cut) That's ridiculous and I won't be trying to go back or referring anyone. … – show

I love this place, I’ve been seeing Mary going on 5 years now! Love her! She is so sweet and professional. I’ve had nothing but bad hair experiences at salons my whole life. Even if I was just getting a trim-1/2 inch taken off it would be horrible. Until Chroma. This is the only place I recommend. Literally. I look forward to my appointments when I see them coming up on my calendar. It’s just a really chill place and positive vibes. Everyone’s always smiling or laughing. The best Tacoma salon! Kimberly is the loveliest person and so skilled at cuts and color. I've gotten full balayage and touch ups from her and she is always really knowledgeable, patient, and has given me the best cuts and color of my life. She is very friendly, listens to your needs, and makes suggestions about what would work best for you. Whether I want something new or want to do something more natural that doesn't require maintenance — Highly recommend Kimberly and Chroma!

Love LOVE Chroma Salon, just a gorgeous space. And Lindsay is so wonderful!!! She does really great work, and is so helpful on deciding what to go with, and happy to work with you. Worth the commute to go here. Xx

Best place ever. I have been to see Jackie for years now and she is amazing and very talented. Would highly recommend if you want people that know what there doing and give great customer service.

Great location; beautiful neighbourhood. My hairdresser was very friendly, however we were not on the same page about what I wanted. Despite that, I'm giving them 5 stars because THEY called ME to follow up on my appointment and rescheduled to have my hair “fixed”. I've NEVER experienced that before, and I look forward to my follow up appointment. Will post an updated review after....

Brenda is amazing!! Has been working hard to get my hair from dark brown to blond! It looks incredible! Plus she is super sweet!

Mary is amazing. Had a dark dye over my natural blonde hair. The grow out was brutal. Mary covered it up with some highlights. When I came home my husband thought it looked EXACTLY like my natural color again. She was professional, welcoming, and asks all the right questions to get me just what I wanted!
