    Cynthia is extremely talented and knowledgeable. I never used to buy salon products but I was so impressed by Cynthia, that I actually listed and bought the produced she recommended. She didn't lie! My hair is so healthy. I am a true brunette but mostly blonde now. My hair isn't fried because of the products and how Cynthia makes sure to keep me on track for having healthy hair

    I received a fabulous color, cut and hair treatment today! This is the first time in probably 20 years that I have left the salon feeling really happy! I used to leave in tears, so stopped going altogether. Cynthia is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and provides detailed instructions and tips for caring for your hair.     I’ve gone to Cynthia a couple times now for hair extensions and highlights and have been thrilled with the results! Not only is she patient and takes the time to understand what you’re looking for but she also truly cares about your hair health and making sure you understand how to care for it correctly. I highly recommend her!

    Cynthia was great! I went to her for an American Wave and love the results. She was great at communicating what my options were since my hair had been processed before, was extremely professional, and gave wonderful advice and recommendations for updating my hair care routine.

    I’ll definitely be returning soon!

    Cynthia is the kindest, most talented hairstylist I have ever been to. She is very precise with her work and genuinely cares about her clients. My hair texture and color were disastrous because of a botched balayage I had, and Cynthia practically revived it from the dead. I received treatment, color correction, and 18 inch hair extensions from her and have never felt more confident in my life! Do not hesitate to make an appointment with her studio because she is truly a magician.

    Cynthia gave me an amazing COVID-19 Hair Stimulus!! She was thorough, knowledgeable, and kind, discussing every option to reach the goals I have for my fine, color-treated hair and took every concern into consideration. Much needed hair care after too many months away from the salon. She also takes great care to ensure all COVID protocols are adhered to. I can’t wait to go back and get my extensions installed!     Cynthia is a straight up hair magician! I definitely recommend seeing her for a hair treatment. My hair is naturally pretty curly and dry, after a few treatments with her I was amazed with the results and how much more restored my curls looked. I also had ktip extensions installed by Cynthia and all I can say is WOW. She is incredible! She made me feel comfortable and we had a fun time during the 4hr long install =)

    Cynthia came recommended to me by my hairstylist for extensions and I couldn’t be happier with my results. She is beyond thorough and makes sure you know all the details before diving in! Cynthia also takes the time during your appointment to walk you through every step from care to styling which I found super helpful since this was my first time trying extensions. She listened to everything I was looking for and wow did she deliver! My hair looks AMAZING! I can’t recommend her services enough.

    This is the BEST place to get your hair done. I highly recommend getting your hair taken care of by Cynthia! She is the best of the best. Cynthia is very professional, clean, and really cares for what is best for ALL her customers.     I got another great haircut by Cynthia. I went to her for the first time earlier in the year, pre-Covid, and loved my cut. She gave me great advice and following really made a difference in my hair and scalp’s health. I came back this time for an all over color and cut. I showed her different pictures of color jobs I had seen and she was able to guide me to the right one for my features.     This is by far the best hair salon in the DMV area. Cynthia is very knowledgeable and she genuinely cares about your hair health. I always get my balayage with root shadow there and it lasts for months and months. The salon is cozy and welcoming, has awesome selection of products for all my hair needs (with no pressure to buy btw!) and i NEVER walked out of the salon disappointed as I experienced before in many cheaper or more expensive salons.

    STOP!!! YOU FOUND THE PERFECT HAIR PLACE!! Whether you are looking for the perfect hair treatment, products, style, up keep or a brand new look Cynthia and her team have you covered. I went from my natural grey (I'm 35) and went to a vibrant red when I first met Cynthia. A year later I'm a balyaged blonde who still visits monthly for treatments, up keep and products.     I went to Cynthia about a year ago, almost. I hadn't had my hair trimmed in months and it was looking awful. I originally had a picture picked out of the style I wanted, but after talking with her about my hair type she suggested the inverse of that style. Cynthia is very professional and knows her stuff.     I started going to this salon a few years ago, initially for an extension consultation, because my curly hair was lifeless and thinning. Cynthia easily could have simply agreed and given me the extensions. Instead, she assessed my hair and its health, gave me a scalp treatment, and I immediately saw my hair come to life again.     Amazing service! Amber always cuts my hair and has done all lengths for me. I always feel like my hair transitions well and I don’t have the awkward new haircut stage! I also always go to her for up-dos or something different for a special event. She will be doing my hair for my wedding next year and I can’t wait!

    Went to this salon and saw the new Lead stylist, Amber. She was great!! She listened to what I wanted and really worked with me to achieve my hair goals. Very professional and an all around great experience. I’ll definitely be back!

    Cynthia and Karla are amazing! I started going to Cynthia to fix my old and grown out balayage. My hair was super dry from over treating it. After my first visit, my hair was returned to super soft and natural color:) I now have Karla do my hair color and Cynthia cuts my hair. My hair has never been healthier. Always happy with the results. I was so happy to find a home at Cynthia Santana Hair Studio!

    This salon is not like any other. The personal touch, the knowledge, and the personalized treatment make it unique and special. Cynthia is an amazing hair dresser and colorist. She listens and gives advice. The products she chose to use at the salon are the best quality you can find. Karla is amazing too! She has done my follow ups and I have to say these two ladies are an amazing team! You can trust they will make your hair look amazing!

    I have been wearing clip in extensions for years in order to give myself more volume (my hair can be a little flat/lifeless because of the fine texture). After extensive googling I came across Cynthia. Her consultation was very informative and she went through all the different options for extensions and recommended which type would work best for my hair.
