    Great equipment! Mechanical advantage in some of these machines is effectiviely reduced compared to machines found in most commercial gyms. You get a better lift, better pump, better vibes. And the music is better! Makes me want to quit my currently membership at a gym whose name starts with X.

    Great place to workout. Poor parking, machines constantly being changed. No management or rules being followed. Why is someone lighting a match in the barbell room? No video taking yet its everywhere. Will raise stars if things are regulated better.

    Very nice gym for any physical goals you may have. Best equipment I’ve ever used. The staff is very helpful and a lot of the gym goers are helpful.

    Pretty upset that I just recently signed up despite living in DC the past 2 years!! The environment, staff & equipment is the absolute best. Shout out to Jon for introducing me to DMV Iron!

    If you are looking for a gym that has state of the art equipment great vibe and areas that can help you meet your fitness goals and is 24hrs DMV Iron Gym is the place for you. Also if you are in serving in the military guard, reserve or veteran they have special pricing for you!

    I had this gym membership for one or two days then I got the call to go to Utah for work. The owner was inflexible and kept two months worth of my money.

    Best gym I’ve ever been to in my life! While being Active Duty in Washington DC in the Air Force, I was a member of this gym the entire time. Words and pictures don’t do justice for how amazing the gym is in person… and if you ever do go, ask for Jon! He’s Active Duty military himself and is always available for a great tour! Already miss the place

    My friend used to work for a supplement store in NoVA and witnessed when Leo, the owner of dmv iron gym, was contacted by the store because they recognized one of the members of his gym stealing from their store and Leo came all the way to the store to pay for what this person stole so he wouldn’t get arrested because according to Leo“his mother was in the hospital with cancer so he was going through a hard time”. Very few business owners truthfully care about their members the way Leo does.

    I was so excited to join this gym after reading so many positive reviews. However, when I tried to pay the 12-month contract up front I was told no. I don't understand. It's a win-win situation. I get reimbursed by my employer and they get 12 months of gym membership and fees paid upfront. I guess DMV Iron doesn't want my business.

      Janette unfortunately This club is not permitted, pursuant to the Virginia Health Club Act, to accept any initiation fee in excess of $125 or any payment for more than the prorated monthly fee for the month when the contract is initially executed plus one month in advance.

    I have been going to DMV Iron since day one. It was one building and the owner Leo had a dream and a plan to make it come to life. Ever since I have been there Leo has been fair and consistent with any members and addressed problems instantly. Making sure to keep a safe and comfortable environment for all members.

    I have watched over the years as Leo dumped profit straight back into the company and turned DMV Iron into the Mecca that it is becoming today.
