    Excel Preparatory Academy, under the management of Mr. Eric M. Williams Jr, has been the most unpleasant and unprofessional experience we have ever experienced with a daycare. They owe us thousands of dollars due to an agreement that was approved by Mr. Williams for a refund due to unforeseen circumstances well before our children were supposed to start daycare services. Mr. Williams initially appeared understanding and agreed to issue a refund due to the exceptional circumstances. He promised to refund the fees once another family took my children's spots. After a family did, in fact, fill the spots, Mr. Williams completely changed his tune and has yet to issue a refund for the remaining balance. Despite multiple attempts to contact Mr. Williams, he has chosen to ignore our emails, and messages. His unresponsiveness and unethical behavior have caused us significant distress and financial strain. It is our belief that Excel Prep Academy, under the management of Mr. Eric M. Williams Jr., is operating in a dishonest and unprofessional manner. The blatant disregard for our agreement and the subsequent avoidance tactics employed by Mr. Williams are, in our opinion, a clear indication of a con artist's behavior. It is important to note that we have emails and text messages as evidence to support our claim that Mr. Williams committed to refunding the money. When we realized that he was reneging on his promise, we requested contact information for the Excel Prep Academy's Board and their legal representative to escalate the matter. However, Mr. Williams refused to provide us with this information, banned us from visiting the facility, and eventually stopped responding to our communication attempts altogether. Parents entrusting their children to Excel Prep Academy should be aware of this type of deceitful conduct and stay away! We hope that this complaint will help to prevent other families from experiencing the same distress and financial loss that we have endured. … – show

    Our daughter turned 4 in August 2021 and started attending Excel Prep to smooth the transition between family home daycare and kindergarten. She's had a great experience at Excel Prep — she adores all the teachers and staff, has made lovely friends, learned so much, and become much more confident and comfortable in group settings. Excel Prep provides all meals and snacks, uses an app to send daily updates and photos to caregivers, seems to be the only place our daughter will willingly nap, and h … – show

    My child loves going to school everyday, she almost runs into her class every morning. The school is also very understanding and responsive when an inquiry is made. A great childcare for the community.

    This school is amazing. All the staff have a wonderful level of patience and ability to give a level of attention that facilitates rapid cognitive development. It has been delightful to watch my child freely grow into his personality and find a love for learning. He dances through the day with unbridled excitement to learn new ideas and sings about them for days.     I've been extremely pleased with Excel Prep since enrolling my toddlers there in January, 2021. The staff is attentive, responsive, and are eager to please. My kids are learning a great deal and participating in creative activities at school. Highly recommended.

    Excel Prep is a wonderful daycare and preschool resource in the Eisenhower Avenue Area. My daughter has been attending Excel since November 2019, shortly after they opened, and I have been very happy with the care and attention she has received since she started in the nursery and continued through to her current classroom. Ms. Helen is responsive to parents concerns and requests to improve the quality of the care provided.
