532 yoga has been a true blessing to my life and contributes tremendously to my overall well being. The variety of classes and quality instructors really make this place one of a kind. The ability to assist in repairing ailments that doctors can’t see, really makes this place magical!
What a wonderful review! Thank you Devon. This is what we strive for, and I will be sure to share this will all our teachers.

532Yoga offers a calm beautiful space for practising yoga. Teacher Suzanne Leitner-Wise was spot on in identifying what I needed to do to come into better alignment plus she gives clear concise cues with amazing breakdown of what needs to be done in any given pose. She is attentive to all and offers great adjustments. I love the way she sequences her classes, her humour and the whole ambience of 532yoga. It makes me wish I lived here so I could immerse myself in the yoga rather than just briefly visiting! And the class descriptions on the website are great, so don't hesitate whether you're a novice or an experienced yogi!β¦ β show
Thank you Lisa! It definitely is a lovely zen place.

What I love about Yoga 532 is the instructors do an amazing job of providing clear and simple instructions. They suggest modifications to each pose so that the classes always feel challenging for any skill level, while not overwhelming anyone who is still learning (like me). Even when the class is somewhat full, the instructors still offer personalized attention and help you get the most out of your stretches/poses. I have only been to classes by Suzanne, Maia, and Jon so far, but they have all been a pleasure to work with and I can’t wait to experience classes with some of the other instructors as well! Highly recommend!β¦ β show
Thank you for taking the time to post a review, Dustin. We strive to make each class a great experience, so this is wonderful to hear!

I can't say enough about how special this studio is. I've only just started attending classes at 532 yoga and feel inspired by the teachers, re-dedicated to my practice and FEELING STRONGER in just 2 weeks. The instructors are so knowledgeable and especially detailed in their description of the posture or movement that you actually do it the right way… and they adjust their instruction so that it's also the right way FOR YOU. Every session, I leave with pride for what I accomplished and excited about the next session.β¦ β show
This is so wonderful to hear Lindsey, as this is the whole purpose of the practice. This is why we love sharing, supporting, and providing for the community. Thank you

This studio fosters community, self-care, growth and love in a time where all of that and more is needed! The teachers all deliver high quality instruction while coming from a variety of diverse backgrounds. Suzanne has done an impeccable job allowing even virtual students to feel present during class time. Her artistic taste and eclectic style keeps you coming back for more of that same energy. Great location, easy to walk to a local restaurant for an outdoor meal or consider wandering a few blocks to the river front for an evening in Old Towne.β¦ β show
We have an OMazing community, and we are so pleased you are part of it! Thank you for your kind words.

I attended my very first yoga class and Lola was the instructor. I must say I was intimidated and didn't know what to expect but Lola was fantastic and very personable. I felt comfortable, her instruction was clear and concise, and I stretched in ways I didn't know my body needed. Not to mention, the studio was very clean and zen and parking was easy (on a beautiful Saturday afternoon). Don't just take my word for it, pop in and take a class with Lola and thank me later!
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this review! We are delighted you had a great experience. Lola is amazing, and we are so pleased to have her as part of our team at 532YOGA!

I went for my first class today and I was very impressed. I have been to most of the Yoga studios in the area once or twice over the past 20 years and never felt comfortable going back (I am not interested in hot yoga so I can't comment on those). They were all too intimidating for me to return as a beginner and not very inviting or staff were off-putting and not very welcoming for a sometimes awkward individual like myself. Also a few of the studios were a part of a chain that lacked any personal touch or real yoga feel (some also felt stiff and not very relaxing in general). 532Yoga didn't feel anything like my previous experiences elsewhere and it felt very warm and welcoming upon arrival and the class was very enjoyable for once. I can't wait to go back and try another class!β¦ β show

532 Yoga is a wonderful welcoming community of all walks and yoga experience. As soon as you cross the threshold you feel accepted into the space and encouraged to move through your practice exactly how your body leads you. I love this place. I am happy in the space. It is worth your time. Honor yourself by practicing here.
Thank you Aisha. It is wonderful to hear that 532 is your ‘happy space’! We are honored to have helped build an amazing community.

This place deserves zero stars for disgusting treatment of clients. Suzanne, the owner, just hung up on me after I reached out with concerns about my first experience at the studio. She would not let me speak, spoke over me, and hung up on me while I was attempting to speak. With that attitude, she has absolutely no place being a yoga instructor or working anywhere near the practice of yoga. She reflects the opposite of what the practice should be.
The concerns I raised were about the instructor, Maia, who was very unfriendly and made me feel uncomfortable with her manner, and about their COVID-safe practices. I bought a one-month pass because the studio appealed to me, as well as the information about complying with COVID-safe practices as part of the “ALX Promise.” Upon attending my first class, as I mentioned, the vibe was anything but friendly and welcoming, instead I was made to feel like I was intruding. There were also no COVID-safe practices being followed. Props were being put back in their normal place, no instruction to wipe them down or place them in separate bins for later disinfection. There was also no hand sanitizer available in the studio and the instructor instructed us to rub our palms and rub them on our faces, after handling props that might not have been disinfected.
I expressed these concerns via voice message because I could not find a person or email address to reach out to and also filled out the online form for someone to contact me. The owner, Suzanne, contacted me and upon my answering the phone, she proceeded to justify the unfriendly behavior of the instructor and go on and on about how they were doing everything right. This went on for about five minutes, while I listened quietly. When it was my turn to speak, she would not let me. She challenged me when I said that my experience with other studios in the area had been different as they were practicing a more serious COVID protocol, asking me to tell her what was different. However, when I tried to explain, she would not let me. I asked to please speak and she continued to speak over me and immediately hung up on me.
I had requested a refund because I do not feel comfortable being part of this studio, I didn’t feel it before speaking with Suzanne and I was less comfortable after speaking with her due to how she treated me. She wanted to charge me the full price of the class $27, which in itself is outrageous, and I noted that had I known I would be paying $27 for a single class, I never would have considered it. I requested to be charged $20 for the class and refunded the rest. However, since she hung up on me, I didn’t know what she would do. I followed up with a text and after about an hour, Suzanne replied telling me that she had hung up on me because of my negative energy and because she had other clients to attend to. What kind of business, especially a yoga practice, treats any client with such little respect? Honestly, I’m appalled by this woman’s behavior and wish I never had the misfortune of buying the pass so I would never have had to deal with her.
If you want to be part of a studio where clients’ concerns don’t matter and you are talked down and shut down, by all means go here. But know there are so many better, friendlier options in the area that deserve your business much more than this place.
Unbelievably rude service to clients and totally unpleasant and unnecessary experience dealing with this place. If you look at their Yelp reviews, you notice a trend from the lower ratings and it has to do with the poor attitude of the owner, who doesn’t seem to care about new clients.oβ¦ β show
As discussed with you when I returned your call, we are totally compliant with COVID-19 protocols.

I've been practicing yoga for years and can honestly say this is the most professionally run, relaxing, and welcoming studio I have ever encountered. The teachers are top notch and I learn something in every single class. Thank you 532Yoga for following all the covid 19 safe guidelines and for remaining open as much as possible through the pandemic.
I began practicing yoga at 532 Yoga before Covid-19, took a break when everything shut down and then due to serious health issues, I returned in-person during the summer once they re-opened and have been there pretty much every single day. The studio follows COVID-19 precautions and I always felt safe. The instructors at this studio are professional and very knowledge about the body and what you might need to help you. The owner's alignment class is one of my favorites, but truly all the other classes I attend regularly are all amazing and have been critical to my health and well-being. I've seen all kinds of people come to the practice, in other words I felt like I belonged in my own way, have found my own rythym, and have felt right at home. 532Yoga has seriously been a life-saver for me — I highly recommend it.β¦ β show

I have been practicing with Suzanne and Maia since November. Their attention to detail and the whole person is amazing. Gave me a whole new outlook on fitness and yoga. I am so thankful they care enough to practice in person, using all the safety measures, and value their guidance. I look forward to working with them for a long time to come
Thank you for your kind words! We aim to make each class experience a great one!

532Yoga is like my second home. Working at home and having no commute has freed me up to take more classes, so I try to be at alignment, ashtanga, yin and flow classes each week. The instructors are excellent; I value the fellowship within the studio and the depth that my yoga practice has gained.
I have been practicing here for the past month and it has been an incredible expereince. The instructors are focused on form and truly understanding how you are moving through the positions. The place is very clean and practicing good COVID hygiene.
Thank you! And welcome to 532YOGA! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

I moved to Old Town right before the quarantine lockdown went into place so I haven't practiced or attended a yoga class in months. Today I signed up for an alignment class with Suzanne and really enjoyed tuning in with what was going on with my alignment in foundational poses. Suzanne's expertise and cues really helped me think about my seated posture, plank, downward, upward dog and chaturanga dandasana in ways I hadn't before. The studio is beautiful, clean, full of good energy--I'll definitely be back for more classes. [Note: they are open for in person classes but still have virtual options if you’re not comfortable attending in person yet!]β¦ β show
