    Gold Works has been a fantastic find! I was shocked by not only the quality of work but the speed at which it was done. I had a ring resized and engraved and fully expected to wait weeks. However, it was ready the same week. And when the ring was still the wrong size, they resized it again that same day with no hassle or charge. I cannot recommend them enough!

    I feel bad writing this, but I feel compelled to. The owner was sizing my fiance's emerald ring and broke one of the many emerald stones in it. Although he did replace the broken stone, he made us pay for it, which shouldn't have been our responsibility given it was his fault. He simply said, emeralds are soft stones and sometimes break. I know that if I'm responsible for breaking something, I'm also responsible for paying for it or replacing it, without charging anyone for my mistakes. Als โ€ฆ โ€“ show

    I went to have some jewelry cleaned and some necklaces fixed. 10/10 when it comes to service and pricing is very reasonable! I will be using them again and again. Stop by and check them out if you’re ever on King Street. The owner sells adorable pieces as well.

    David Martin made a replica of a much loved tourmaline three-stone ring that I had lost, and it is beautifully done. He carefully located the precise color of mossy green tourmaline that the original ring had, and also made the green gold setting I wanted. Amy and David were prompt in calling me at each step of the process, and the result is absolutely what I asked for, and more. I would surely recommend Gold Works, and plan to purchase earrings to match the ring as soon as possible.

    I'm thrilled with the custom ring David created for me! He ordered a tourmaline gemstone based on my request, and it arrived the next day. He then quickly designed and completed the ring with expert craftsmanship. I was extremely pleased with the entire process and I love my beautiful ring!

    Can’t speak to their jewelry or design but the owner is very rude and condescending. You’ll see it reflected in other reviews. Other staff are nice but our experience here was poor and stressful in fact… there are plenty of other highly rated jewelers in the area to choose from.

    I had a wonderful experience at Gold Works, where David made a custom engagement ring for me using gold from a famiy ring. This was my first time having custom jewelry made, and David and his team were extremely friendly and willing to patiently explain the process to me. I felt from the beginning like David was very invested in trying to produce exactly the piece I wanted without trying to upsell me.     My husband and I recently had new wedding bands designed and made here.
    From beginning to end professionalism and courtesy were exhibited by the staff. We are HIGHLY pleased with the result and recommend this jeweler for all your needs.

    Cannot say enough good things about working with David & his incredibly kind and patient staff on a recent custom project (a gold claddagh ring). I've walked by his shop on King Street for years admiring the gems in his storefront and am delighted to finally have a piece to call my own. He is truly an artist and visionary (and hysterically witty with wisdom).

    A friend recommended this place for jewelry repair. I dropped off a pair of earrings and a necklace that needed to be repaired. I was given a work order invoice and it said estimate $40 — $55. No one ever called me to give me updates on the repairs. I had to be the one calling and one time Amy told me it was ready and that she was going to call me by the end of the day when it was ready for pick up. At least 4 days went by and no one called me.     David Martin fabricated/designed a PERFECT MATCH for my lost earring. This was no small task:
    Buying a quality/size matching diamond and then building the exact jacket in which to securely
    place the diamond. He added screw on backs so an earring would not pop off with the current use
    of masks. I am extremely grateful for his expertise. I am very happy to have my Mother’s gift whole again.

    I sent David a picture of the Letter K in the script and design my fiancรฉ’s daughter had inherited from her grandmother. The initial in gold was a antique and I couldn’t find anything similar anywhere! I needed the letter M!
    My fiancรฉ s name is Marina. David made a beautiful copy of the script and material in 14k at a fair price. It’s beautiful and my fiancรฉ wears it daily. Thank you David

    David Martin is an amazing artist and jeweler.
    I made a pencil drawing of what I woukd like for our wedding rings (not bands).
    They included using lapis lazuli, he found a raw stone, cut, shaped, polished in. He created a wax casting. Then set it in gold, inserted the lapis, added a diamond, and we had the most beautiful, unique, two of a kind rings.
    His attention to detail was amazing.

    The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. This is usually a subject that a customer will not have a great understanding of. The employees took time to explain, in great detail, what they saw and what they thought needed to be done. I never once felt like they were trying to trick me or make money off of me like you do when you go to a large chain. They were very fairly priced and the work was excellent. I would highly recommend this store to anyone!

    Got a couple watches repaired and cleaned here. They did a wonderful job and it was very well priced. Pleased with the service. Would certainly go to Gold Works again for my jewelry needs.
