    George was fantastic! He helped me think through some issues related to a relative's burial at Arlington. Then, even though it turned out that my plan to use Demaine wouldn't make sense given the situation, he still he gave me his time and clear thinking on the issue. He obviously does his job because he cares about people -it' not just about making money. I highly recommend Demaine for that reason.

    A few weeks ago my five-month-old nephew passed away unexpectedly. The experience was devastating.

    Claudia, our funeral director was so warm, patient, and professional. My family and I are so grateful to Claudia and the other staff at Demaine for the beautiful send off. I don't usually write reviews but I feel that Claudia was extraordinary and simply wanted to thank her publicly.

    Kimberly Curry is a consummate professional. In the face of our grief and anxiety, she put us at ease and was compassionate and caring in discussing what to expect. She explained all the services and options for my sister in an straightforward, honest, and efficient way — all the while understanding what a difficult time this was for my family. I think her background as a teacher provides her with “social work” skills which she puts to good use. Thanks for the great service!

    Claudia Vincent, funeral director has forever changed my relationship with this painful part of life — death and it’s aftermath.     Demaine performed intake and cremation services for both my dad and mom who died within 2 weeks of each other. I had to call for services well after normal office hours. Their phone was answered almost immediately and they quickly arranged for the pick up of my parent’s remains. For my dad, Demaine arranged a viewing for my immediate family. Demaine is also helping arrange funeral services at Arlington Cemetery since he is a retired active duty officer. Can’t say enough how helpful the staff is. – show

    Our experience at Demaine Funeral Home was top-notch. Our funeral director, George Rivera, was a pleasure to work with and very attentive to our needs. George went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our father’s funeral service were addressed from receiving his remains from NC, arranging for a USAF Honor Guard, and coordinating the church and cemetery arrangements.     My mom passed away 3/6/22 and was 93. Everything was perfect and everyone at the funeral home was so caring, understanding, and thoughtful. The memory tables and video montage for the visitation were wonderful. Funerals have come a long way, and I am glad. It is now a celebration of life, which is what it should be. Danielle, Brandon, Brooke, Aivy, Claudia, Patti, and Rachel made everything happen seamlessly. Very professional staff who were always a step ahead.

    When our 14-year old daughter died in 1999, we engaged Demaine for her funeral services. So, in 2015, my husband and I pre-planned our funerals with Demaine.

    When my husband died last month, the entire staff at Demaine could not have been more helpful or more gracious in providing everything we needed. Our arrangements were complicated, and it was the probably the first time a Requiem Mass in the “usus antiquior” had been offered at our parish in 50 years.

    George Rivera and Dana went above and beyond to make a hard task easier for our family. Because of COVID, George took care of everything via phone conversations, but I still felt a special connection with George and he was professional, genuine and efficient. I was disappointed I didn’t get to meet him in person, but it was no less personal talking to him on the phone.

    Demaine in Old Town was the perfect choice to take care of my father’s funeral in September 2020. Not only was the location of the building easy for the small group (due to Covid) but the historic building was beautiful and the room set up comforting and perfect to honor my father’s life.
