    Just had a rug repaired and cleaned. I have a vintage rug and the edges were starting to fray. I had also never had it cleaned. The repairs were done to perfection and the cleaning actually brought out more of the original coloring. I could not be more pleased.
    The owner is very knowledgeable and very personable. His showroom is like a museum. If you ever need repair work done or are in need of a new rug, this is the place to go!

    We had a great experience working with this business. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. They were thoughtful about how to clean our valued rug to give it a fresh life after flooding damage. They also have a gorgeous inventory of many rugs available to browse and buy!

    If you are looking for a beautiful, handcrafted rug or need professional cleaning for your own treasured carpet, look no further than Art Underfoot Rug Gallery. Mr. Nasseri has an incredible selection at an excellent price point. His professional rug restoration services are top notch — he restored our prized Nain rug to its original splendor. Highly recommend this gem of a shop.

    Art Underfoot Rug Gallery is a world-class purveyor of new and antique oriental carpets. It's one of those stores where you can spend an hour digging through the rug stacks and find 10 rugs, you'd like to buy; and, if you returned a month later, you could do it again and find another 10 rugs! It's a fantastic store in the heart of Old Town Alexandria.

    Their prices are very affordable and their work ethics are admirable. The work done in our rug was done in 2 days with a meticulous finish. The staff were respectful and very professional. I highly recommend them to everyone. Contact Mr. Nabi, he is very professional!

    We have had several carpets cleaned at this place and a small silk rug repaired by replacing the end fringe and fixing some cuts on the edges resulting from dried out threads. Not only did they do beautiful work on all of our rugs, they went to the extra trouble of conditioning the silk rug to help prevent tearing in the future. The rug is 30 years old, so time had taken its toll, but it looks like new now. We would definitely use this place again for repairs and cleaning. We were also impress … – show

    Working with Mr. Nasseri at Art Underfoot has been a true pleasure. This is the second time I have had a rug/carpet cleaned with him and both times it has come back looking brand new and and even more vibrant than before.
